a real, proper introduction......
Hi, I am Kevin.
Figured I'd try this again, for the simple fact that I left much to be desired in what I let on about myself, personally. As I read through this thread, I started wondering whether I should take notes on the interests and personalities and screennames of many of you so that I could maybe know who you are upon meeting you, and realized I basically said nothing about who I am.....So here goes......
I'm a 27 year old blue collar worker, who's married except for on paper, you know what I mean, and a 3-1/2 year old daughter who is my whole world. I like to read to her, cook for her, and watch the movies that I watched as a young child with her. (think: Rumplestiltskin, Chitty chitty Bang bang, Wizard of Oz)
We had our own place (a 2 bdrm house in the woods, rental) for a couple years coinciding with the birth of our daughter, Devon, and throughout the trials and tribulations we did okay for ourselves, but one day the landlord (asshole he is) came to us and said someone offered him a certain amount to buy the house we lived in and we had to move out unless we could top the offer. Of course we could not, so we looked around for someplace else to go, and found that in 2 short years rents and home purchases had gotten out of our reach, plus we had nothing for a downpayment. So EVERYTHING went into storage and we moved the whole house in my pickup and lived off the rent money I stiffed that dickhead for four months for-- After that I was a little psycho and wasn't in the mood to be nice anymore, so he got no more rent out of me after that. I knew that he would keep my security and no more money changed hands. With the profit he was to make off that house, I had little sympathy for what he lost on my rent for the next four months. (He's a local builder and owns many of the rental homes in that area, and has a rep for being quite uncouth, as you can see to put a young family who does pay the rent on the street) so I went with F*** him.
Where did we go? (Ugh!) My mother-in-law's! Pure horror. Ever since we got here it's been one perpetual nightmare after the next. Even she can't stand to be here and it's no place I want to raise my daughter. I escape quite frequently- here, on the computer, to my father's down the shore, when feasible.
Oh, yeah, forgot to mention that my family and Lisa struggle to get along as do I with her family. Sometimes, believe it or not, we even get into it. We are so much the same it creates friction: stubborn, stong-willed, etc.
Enough of my life story, we're working on breaking down the barriers that are preventing us from getting the hell out of here. So being that money is tight, leisure activities are usually out of the question and what we do we have to pick and choose between that and something else; which is why making NEST is so important to me- first vacation I've taken in years! (to Phila. and I only live in Jersey!)
There are 2 things I love more than my tickling fetish and it's only these 2 things that can take it off my mind for a while: My daughter, and music, I am a huge music fan. Can barely read a note or play an instument but I love my rock and roll and oldies. Yeah you read that correctly, I'm 27.
Guess I'm rambling and could have written this better but it is off-the-cuff, so it is what it is.
If it was planned out I would have written more eloquently, used proper grammar and spelling, and thrown around a few words that would make you say, "damn, where is that thesaurus?" (something I have a knack for)
But here I thought I'd be my dressed-down self, since I'm more comfortable that way.
I trust this was somewhat insightful and informative for you. If you should require or desire any further information regarding myself, I urge you to refer to my genuine myspace page at:

Hope that's enough!
See everyone in June!
