Does it sound wierd that I've never tickled or been tickled in my life?Maybe both sides for like a maximum of two or three seconds but no more.I don't even know what it feels like,I'm probobly not even ticklish.Does anyone else share this trait?

Just so you don't feel too weird: Anyone who knows me well knows what a sexual person I am. Yet, because I used to be a Fundamentalist, I did not lose my virginity or so much as kiss passionately until I was 25.

You've already revealed two qualities that many women will treasure, Gothmug: honesty and courage. It takes a lot of both to write some of the things you have. I am sure many of the women on this board will agree with me.

You have the power to get what you want no matter how scary it may feel. Take it in small steps and build up from there. And talk to people. A message board is a good place to start, as you can get lots of feedback here. There are also counselors you can talk to if self-esteem and fear are issues. You can also check for sliding scale fees if you do not make much money, and there are organizations on line that can make referrals. I went to a therapist many years ago when I felt overwhelmed by things in my life; I am not ashamed to admit it.

Be realistic in what you seek in women, and you'll find doors opening. The looks are less important if compassion and empathy are there.

Let me give you some advice, bro: Real dating and fantasy are two different things. Many guys get so caught up in fantasy that they miss out on the good stuff. Fantasy is about Courteney Cox or Jessica Simpson lying on your bed, begging you to take your pleasure with them. They are eternally young and hot, and they exist only to please you.

Real dating is about real women with intelligence and sophistication, with three dimensional personalities (negative as well as positive features), with everyday faces and figures, with the desire to be there for you but also the need for you to be there for them. So many men want only the skinny, under 25 variety, and for that reason there are a lot of lonely quality women (and lonely men) in the world. Don't look for boobs; look for a real person. Real people lose their tempers, cry, overeat or undereat, get on your nerves... But their hugs are pure heaven.

True, I date men, but I practice what I preach. In my fantasies, yeah, they are perfect in every way. But in real life, since I am far from perfect, I would be miserable dating a perfect person (if such existed) since I would feel inferior. I want to be who I am, and I want the other person to be real as well. Real love exists when it is aware of faults and gets past them.

I hope that helps. No matter what you look like or what you think your faults are, if you are realistic in who you approach, and if you intend to treat women with dignity and affection, you will find someone faster than you think possible. 🙂

It is not weird but probably very sheltered in the sense that you have not been physically touched very much by others in your life. I am sure there is a girl out there for you somewhere and you need to look, be honest and realize that we all encounter rejectons in the process of finding significant others.

I suspect that you are not highly ticklish since there are a lot of accidental tickles in life for those of us that are highly ticklish. They can happen in various situations: medical exams, clothing fittings, massages, dogs licking our faces, etc. Or you may have experienced a little bit of tickling without realizing what it was. Also, lots of people who are somewhat ticklish need more intentional touches to be tickled. Some need definite firm prodding to be tickled. Tickling may or may ot be sexual. You do not have to have a girl friend to be tickled. Talk about tickling to a friend or us here on this forum to understand it better. You might find a friend here who does not live far from you. Ask a friend to do a little innocent experimental tickling of your neck, ribs, palms, soles or wherever. Some underlying interest has probably brought you to this board. I suspect that you may be developing into a tickler and/or ticklee enthusiast. It is an unusual interest but most of us here respect and love it.

Thank you for all the advice everybody.(Oh and by the way blondes don't do it for me.I really am only attracted to asian girls.)It is unrealsitic to seek a perfect person,since no one is perfect.I'm just a very shy nervous person,I always have been.The one problem with tickling for me is that it is something sexual,so I don't feel comfortable having other people doing it to me.It would have to be someone I loved and cared for.Thank you all again for the advice.

You're not unique. I am new here as well, and all of my tickling experiences were either horseplay (non-sexual) or sexual foreplay. All were thus light and brief (less than ten seconds--and usually a lot less); there was nothing like the scenes described here.

But no, especially since my own experiences were limited, I, too, cannot see tickling with a stranger. I would consider tickling without romance, but it would have to be someone I knew well.

In addition, for me, it would have to be a gay male. (This is not meant in any way to offend the straight M/M fans, who are a minority but do exist; I am just saying what would feel right for me.)

For you, it would probably have to be a woman. Maybe it could only be M/F. Or maybe both M/F and F/M appeal to you. It is your right to like or dislike whatever you do.

In the end, Gothmog, you have to proceed at your own pace and do what feels right to you. You can also say no any time you wish and know that it is not weird to say it. 🙂

Man..that sounds almost like ME. Only difference is I KNOW I'm ticklish...(only cause of the poking my doctor does when checkin for..whatever ...during checkups. I've never been tickled for more than a few seconds and last time that happened was years ago..)

Well, it's not weird, I've met other people who told the same thing, that they've never been tickled. And I know some, who was tickled for the first time at a mature age.
