First off, Id just like to say hi to everyone here. It seems to my being involved here instead of just ghosting the forums is much overdue.

So here is my question.

How bad do pedicures tickle? And are your feet more ticklish afterwords?

I ponder this because I have very ticklish feet and have been wondering sometime about getting one.

I've never had a pedicure myself, but my second hand information is that, yes, they tickle a lot, and, yes, your feet are more ticklish afterwards, with the calluses and rough skin removed.

The WHOLE pedicure doesn't tickle..just certain parts of it. And yes, it does make your feet more ticklish, particularly if you get them often.

I've had several pedicures and foot spas with no ticklishness...but then I am a Ler, not a lee.

I'm a lee, so I've been going for pedicures since long before it was fashionable for men to do so. The toenail clipping doesn't tickle, but it does feel nice especially if the pedicurist has soft hands. The part that tickles is when she vigorously rubs the pumace stone across the ball and heel of the foot to scrape away dead skin. When she's done, the scraped areas are pink and very sensitive. I usually get one right before NEST. 😀

I also have very ticklish feet, and unfortunately, it is really difficult to sit through one if you are very ticklish. The scrubs and the foot files are enough to make me cry, but I consider myself among the extremely ticklish. So for all of you feet fanatics out there, invest in a foot file and some foot scrub with exfoliating beads, because when combined, it tickles like hell!

I want really bad to get a pedicure (never had one) but like someone else said I'm pretty sure it would tickle and I would be SO embarassed! My boyfriend keeps telling me that from the perspective of a "vanilla" person, it wouldn't look at all strange or be anything to be embarassed about, but I'd feel very uncomfortable with someone I dont even know tickling my feet by accident, and probably getting annoyed if I can't sit still.

When my cousin Valerie told me that she has her feet pedicured on occasions she did mention that they do tickle like crazy especially the pumace stone, when I heard that of course I understood that her feet are ticklish and waited for the right moment to tickle those feet of hers which I didnt have to wait to long since we were in a pool at the time

Trust me, I've said many times how ticklish Mrs Knox's tootsies are...

But alas, no reaction from the pedicure. The people who did it are incredibly professional. She's got thicker, tougher soles, anyway...

I was miffed! 🙂 Too bad the salon was closing...I'd have tried to make an excuse to hang around and see if anyone ELSE would have a great reaction...
