I dropped New Years resolutions years ago. They represent promises made and never kept. I already accomplished one goal by getting my Bachelors degree this year. Hey, it only took about twenty years, but who's counting?
😛 😛 I've began to address the weight issue in late August/early September. I've lost 45lbs to date with a whole lot to go. I would've lost more, but let's just say I've indulged in a little too much holiday cheer! The good news is I haven't gained, but unfortunately, I haven't lost nearly as much as I could have if I stayed on track. So, goals for 2005 are as follows:
Lose lots more weight!
Stop partying and get more serious about losing weight!
Get to know myself better and not feel guilty about taking care of myself and putting me first.
Get back to my spiritual roots
Deal with issues that have kept me from being more open to people (men/dating in specific)
Let my children go to make their own way in life and be there when they mess up because they will.
FIND A REAL JOB!!!!!!!
That about covers it! BTW, all you heath-consious folks on the TMF are more than welcome to make suggestions. There are so many plans to follow: Atkins, South Beach, low-carb, low-fat, etc....The list is mind boggling. Anyone who has lost over 50 pounds, I DESPARATELY WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR FOLKS!!!!!!!!
