There are a lot of very attractive people (I'm dating one..Lexi Doodles... and I'm not even too hard on the eyes meself 🙂 ).

One thing I will say is get to know the person first. Hopefully, she did not post her e-mail, and she not getting hundreds of emails. Let's just say for a second, that somebody does post a fake pic what does it matter to you if it is not your pic? I would suggest to females not to post their pics untill they have gotten to know some people in the forum, so the will not be pre-judged on their pics.

Well, we have proven today that there ARE beautiful people on the forum. I have gone through ALL of the member pics, and there are some pretty girls in there. And I am not into guys, but I see guys in there that are attractive, at least girls would think so. So we musn't assume looks have ANYTHING to do with why people are here!!! I mean there are people of all ages (even 70's as our poll showed us), all ethnic groups, both sexes, and many other personal characteristics. We are a diverse communitty!!!

This is a sad, sad statement... because it's true. I'm not just talking about the TMF, either. IMHO, the anonymous nature of the internet (which I think is damn great, don't get me wrong... the INTERNET, I mean, not the anonymity of it! 😛 ) is leading to a serious decline in online manners and common decency.

Any woman posting a pic in any public internet forum stands about a 100% chance of having God-only-knows-how-many hard-up men trying to contact her. This alone would be horribly annoying. The fact that a high percentage of these attempted contacts are rude, lacivious, abrupt, creepy, or downright lewd inevitably drives women away. I'm sure that the sexually related (for many) nature of the TMF's primary topic makes this forum even more prone to this sort of behavior. Does every guy on the TMF act like that? HELL no. Not even close. But a SMALL minority certainly DO. And when you've got the same 20 or 50 or 100 or, hell, even 5 or 10 rude, horny men propositioning EVERY woman who shows up in a crude and insulting fashion... well, that's a problem.


I guess I'm sort of straying from the original topic, and perhaps ranting a bit, too... But let me impart a little advice before I go: I'd advise any woman who was thinking of registering to think twice, and then maybe think a third time before posting any contact information whatsoever. Surf the boards, hit the chatroom, and find people YOU like. There's no end of cool folks here. Just don't let 200 drooling guys you WON'T like find YOU. 🙄

I don't think there is any problem registering with the forum. It is a moderated forum and it does give you the chance to interact and meet new people. I would advise that you not give out your email address or any contact information of any kind.

One of the main problems I have had with this thread was it started by judging somebody solely on looks alone. From what I can gather only one person in this thread has had any kind of discussion with this person.

In my opinion it really doesn't matter about the pics...it would be great if people always posted real pics, but unless you get personally involved with the person, who cares? Many people might not feel comfortable with posting their actual pic online, especially in a "fetish" forum...they might worry about any consequences if they are found out in their "real life". Or they might not be as comfy with their looks...people can be very judgemental and unfeeling about commenting on how a person looks so they get shy. So they use a different pic as sort of an "avatar". No big deal...if she's cool, i don't care what she looks like.

But if it does matter...that pic looks alot like the porn actress "Skylar Knight" that was around about a year or two ago.

Katherine, you didn't cause any problems. The problem was the reactions from others. Something you could not control and resonably should not have expected. No accusations should have been made. This is cool for two reasons. The first reason is that we have not lost a TMF member. The second reason is that too many people get offended by misunderstandings, and then they take their ball and go home.
