hi iv bin hiding in the shadows for bout 4 years now but just though i'd though something in the mix. alot of our members ask the question of, have you told your parents about your fetish? or how did your frinds take you having a tickle fetish? i mean is it really sumink you'd discuss with your parents or for that matter would you really feel the need to sort of take your friends to one side n say, look i have a tickle fetish is that ok. especially the parents thing do people who dont have a fetish go up to there parents and say look mum dad i had your every day normal sex n it was ok. i just sometimes feel people look at there fetish and think my god i have to keep this thing a secret! my view is no, dont keep it a secret just keep it personal. being an East Londoner i tend to tell it how and this is my 1st post so dont judge to harshly.

welcome to the forum, phil.. i never told my parents about my fetish, because until last july i didn't realize it was a fetish, and by then, they were dead... also i don't go around telling my friends either.. the only one who knows about it at all is my husband..

Well, I'm a very personal person in general; keep things to myself, don't cry alot, i'm just a bottle-upper. I have not told anyone i know yet, and i do not plan to untill i feel it is the right time. I may end up telling whoever becomes my closest friend and stays so for a while, actually i probably will tell them. But for now, it is MY information, and does not need to be anyone else's.

Personally I've kept this to myself, but I tend to do that with alot of things. My parents are the last people I would discuss this with, followed by anyone else related to me. I suppose it could be different with friends, if you're naturally outgoing, but for me its a little too personal.

But I wouldn't be all that concerned if someone found out if I were you. There are MUCH stranger things that people do.(and they're all online somewhere)

My two best friends know I come here, and my mom only found out, because of an incident in the old chatroom, when I first joined, where some idiot troll in the old chat, before you had to have a password to get in, first impersonated a minor, and then a cop, a situation the mods later told me, after I had already let the cat out of the bag to her about my coming here, had happened to others at the time, and was fake. I told her because I freaked out, and thought I was in trouble. She knows I come here, but I am an adult, and she knows she has no right to say anything. My father doesn't know, nor will he. We talk, but aren't close, and he lives in NYC, so what I do with my life is my business.
I think telling family and friends can be difficult. Only my mom, and two best friends know, others dont. I think many of us tend to be very guarded about our personal lives, which is fine. My opinion, if you want to talk about it to others, or feel comfortable doing so, great, if not, then keep it to yourself, it's whatever is comfortable to you. The main thing is that you are here with us, to share with us. If you do that, whatever else you decide to do, is really your decision.
