Yes, I realize this is a few months old, but it's the first I've seen of it, and perhaps it will be the first time some of you have seen it.

I've heard that they want to make it more like the '80s cartoon. Does anybody think we might see our favorite villain make a reappearance?

It would be funny if a bunch of folks from the TMF put together some sort of petition asking for Don Turtelli to appear. We don't necessarily have to say it's because we're into tickling. Odds are they'd just think he was an extremely popular villain, but wouldn't bother to think about why.

Of course, I don't even know for sure if they would have the rights to him just because they have the rights to the other characters.

Thoughts?

I'll just say it, I doubt they will even mention him

I think the old TMNT tickle scene is last will ever see of a true tickle torture scene. cartoons and even TV shows will never use tickle like that ever again.

You're living in fantasy land if you think Don Turtelli would ever appear or reappear. He was in two episodes of the original cartoon over 20 years ago. And while nerdy tickle fetishists like ourselves may have been excited about those shows then, they were still ridiculously silly and campy episodes. I bet you the writers they hire for a TMNT relaunch don't even know that character existed.

Actually, I don't really think there was that much of a chance he'd appear again, but I'm kind of shocked that everybody's so pessimistic about the situation. Sure, it's unlikely, but if they are going to make it more like the '80s cartoon, don't be so surprised if some of the '80s characters make a reappearance. By already saying there's no chance he'd appear, you've already made the situation into a self-fulfilling prophecy. Since people into tickling are the only people who would care to see him back, why can't we try to make it known we're interested in the character? After all, the only way they'd ever bring him back is if they thought he was popular with the fans, so why not let them know how we feel?

I don't know. Perhaps I'm just more of a believer of the concept "never say never" than most people.
