This direction of this thread has touched a nerve with me because it brings up a serious ethical issue.
Tickling producers should inform models that they are appearing in PORN. They should be well aware that they are appearing in a film used for others' sexual pleasure.
Well, yeah, of course we let the models who what it's all about. How could we not? While I continue to object to the term "porn" (because to me it suggests that my work is the same as regular porn smut, which it's most definitely not), the very first thing I explain to the candidates is the adult context. That is, that these are fetish videos, meant for people who are sexually aroused by seeing models tickling each other, even though the models are fully clothed. It's essential to be totally transparent and to make sure that they understand every aspect of my project perfectly so that they can make an informed decision about participating or not.
There's no way I couldn't tell them about the nature of the tickling video market. Right from the start, it would be incredibly unethical not to do so. To me, my models aren't just tools for making videos. They're people who are open-minded, trusting and kind enough to work with me on my unusual little project. I respect them and want to have a good, friendly, honest relationship with them. But more than that, it would be way too dangerous not to tell them what the videos are for. I'm pretty sure most would figure it out immediately anyway, or be quite suspicious, and it would be very hard to keep them in the dark after all the questions they're likely to ask. But even if the models were naive enough to swallow a bogus story (uh, these are laugh therapy videos... yeah right), they might figure it out during the shoot, or possibly after. Then I could get in all kinds of deep, deep trouble. Seriously, it would be just plain stupid not to tell that exactly what the footage is for.
It's not like a producer has crossed the ethics line before.

I sure hope you're not referring to me. I guess not.
I don't know about tickling fetish producers, but there's a trend in the foot fetish community that I find very disturbing. Some people film random women's feet (and sometimes their faces) without their consent, or even their knowledge, and then post the material on fetish forums. Now, doing candid filming for oneself is kind of iffy, but at least the material isn't shared for the fetish world to see. Posting the material is a more serious offense. But what really makes my stomach turn is seeing a few people actually sell the footage, like on Clips4sale.com. It's not enough that they film women without their consent and then post the stuff in places where thousands of people will get off on it, they have the gall to make money from it. THAT, in my opinion, is highly unethical. And probably illegal as well. How anyone can do something like that is beyond me.
