I have always wanted to go scuba diving and it's seeing stuff like this that gets me all excited to get certified. Someday soon I'm going to dive in the Great Barrier reef. I've heard the colors are so amazing there that you should only get your film developed in Australia because they won't get it right in the states since they aren't used to the color spectrum the Great Barrier reef has. Can't wait to see an octopus face to face.

Have a lot of fun but be very careful of box jellyfish and irukandji jellyfish they are very very tiny about the size of your thumb nail and clear.

Thanks for the heads up Mari. 😉 I've actually heard of Irukandji syndrome before. They had a whole special on NatGeo about jellyfish and they featured that particular one. The way I see it, living in a city where everyone drives (public transport here is a joke) and the possibility of getting in a car accident is about 50%, I think I'll feel safer in the water. Besides if you are swimming with a full suit and gear on the only possible place they can get you is your cheekbone which has got to be a VERY small chance of happening. So I'll take the risk for the experience. 🙂 The world has too much to offer to stay inside. Ya know?

ABSOLUTELY MY DEAR!!!!! I'm serious. 😀 I'm hoping to go within the next two years. That's my goal. I have a couple other countries I'm trying to visit first. So it may be more like three but one way or another I'm going.
