Odd questions thread

There was a time when he was the most famous playwright (in the English language) in the world. He is most famous for Pygmalion (1913) which became the musical My Fair Lady. Much better than that one (in my opinion) were Saint Joan (1923) and Misalliance (1909). He also wrote a play with a great F/m tickle torture scene in it, Great Catherine: Whom Glory Still Adores (1913).

Who is your favorite living playwright?
 
Arthur Miller is a great playwright, but when I saw his A View From the Bridge I could only rate it as mediocre.

Have you seen Death of a Salesman?
 
I hesitate to post it here, because I don't want to inject politics into this section of the TMF, so I will leave out the author's name.
It was It Takes a Village published in 1996.

What is the worst book that you ever read?
 
I have read worse then this but because I saw the movie prior to reading, the shining was so bad and BORING

Opinion on Stephan king
 
King has written some books that I greatly enjoyed, notably Needful Things and Gerald's Game.
He has also written some real stinkers. The Tommyknockers was awful as was Christine.
So to me he is woefully inconsistent.

Did you like any of King's books?
