I just posted this in the Tickling Discussion Session, and it got me to thinking about some of the weird stuff people try (and sometimes succeed!) at selling on Ebay.

Now, this one isn't all that weird, but I've heard of people selling things like odd shaped potato chips. I've also read before that somebody attempted to sell the country of New Zealand until ebay removed it.

So, any weird items you've seen sold on ebay?

I remember hearing about how someone sold a half-eaten peice of french toast that was apparently nibbled on by Justin Timberlake.

Lame.

I suspect most people outside the community would find the example you posted pretty weird. And I see it's recieved no bids yet. Maybe someone should let her know about the TMF, if she is not already a member here.

Here are a few I found.

My friend and I used to play the "who can find the weirdest stuff on ebay" game. She won I believe, finding a pure gold necklace that was molded in a vagina and in the same day also finding someone selling pubes "from a UFC fighter" meant for ingestion, to you, too, could become a UFC fighter with the power of the pube.

What frightens me is the though of someone actually buying said item, and expecting it to work. :shock2:

Well, I'm going to be honest here and say that I have seen much odder sales on Ebay. And I happen to be one of them. I often sell used clothing from my websites and videos. If someone loves the photos or video they often want to own a part of it. I think it's great!

I can't wait to see if someone goes for it! I have it watch on it to see. I guess now a days anything goes. As they say there is something for everyone. If the pet rock can sell so can this!

Years ago I sold an obituary for a local musician and made about $9 from a Japanese fan.
