Buy a few bottles of hard liquor and some cigars, when shit hits the fan, park him on your couch and get drunk while smoking cigars.

It would be one thing if your friend came to you and asked for your advice. In that case, you could "do something". Since they didn't, you best stay out of it. My best friend's ex gf hated me, for what reason I dont know. I knew it, but wasn't going to tell him that, to jepordize his relationship. Eventually, life took its course, my friend got fed up, he and his gf broke up, and we are still friends 20 years later.

Stay on the sidelines and let his relationship play out. If he comes to you, discusses it, and asks your advice, then you can offer some.

I went through the same thing and it tore both me and my friends relationship apart, though we do talk now (a year later!). I guess this is a girls perspective, but still, I think it is best to be there when your friend needs to talk about it, rather than getting too involved, he/she will learn from this so just be there to help. I did the stupid thing of saying 'he is immature and you can do better' (etc) which did not help! So yeah, be there if need be but otherwise let live and learn.

its ok i need a girls/ woman's perspective to!!.

Let them figure it out for themselves that the relationship is over and when it gets messy just be there to offer what support they need. Staying in and getting hammered together is never a bad idea. Just let them say what they need to do not do the i knew this was going to happen.

well it happened!
🙁

Like people have sayd. Stay out of it and let em work it out themself.
Just be a good friend and be there for your friend when he needs it.
Thats the best tip I can come with

Let your friend come to you. If he needs you, be there. If he wants to talk about it, listen. Otherwise, I'm with everyone else. Stay the fuck out of it. Getting involved in a friend's relationship, whether you think it's over or not, is a really good way to lose that friend.
