I don't post much here, only once that I can recall..(well it says 4 posts up there) actually but I had to share this and ask is this possible or am I going nuts?

So about an hour ago I was watching some streaming tickling videos to get my jollies going. In the middle of a video I was watching I started hearing people talking..through my speakers. They weren't part of the video. At first I heard the the movie Spiderman 2. I think it was the part near where the black guys says "hey, that guy stole my pIzza!", if you know what I'm talking about. I just heard the movie, the dialogue, music, etc. I was like okay, that's very weird. I didn't see any video or anything. Then while the movie audio was going I started to hear people talking, like they were watching it from another computer. I couldn't tell most of what they were saying but I heard, very clearly a woman say "tickling...eugh...weirdo." Some lady was seeing what I was watching while watching Spiderman 2 and made fun of me.

I'm seriously freaked out. WTF is going on?

I know. But it couldn't have been..I've been sitting on this computer (not trying to gross you out or anything) masturbating for about an hour and a half up until that point.

I mean..are there any viruses or whatever that could make someone be able to remotely see what I was watching?

I don't know much about computers..even though I'm on mine about 75% of the time.

Sounds like a hack of some sort that opened up your computer for someone to see. There are definitely ways people can see exactly what's happening on your computer. As for talking through it and the sounds coming out of your speaker...that I never heard of but I'm sure it's possible.

Anything is possible. It could be a sophisticated hack, or a large virus with pre-programmed speech.

Did you have MSN messenger on? That can show others what you're watching/listening to. Were you talking to someone at the time?

If it was a hack, then the dunce in question neglected to deactivate their microphone.

Or it could be sleep related.
Do you get enough sleep? If you're awake most of the time you start to dream while you're awake.

Did you rewatch it to see if it happened again? It could have been something in the background. Either that or you're schizophrenic. Can you link that specific video?

Well, my computer is completely virus and trojan filled right now. I know that for sure. My mom is taking it to get fixed tommorrow. I hope she doesn't find out what I've been looking at.

I'm 19..but she would probably find these videos very strange.

Yeah, I rewatched it. I'll try and find it but it was a tickle challenge video...with emily..she's a frequent model for these videos. Actually it was one where she was supposed to stay completely silent and not laugh.

It doesn't sound like a virus to me. My guess is you accidentally set up a media-sharing connection over a wireless network. Limewire and iTunes tend to do that. I once loaded up my iTunes to find that my neighbour's limewire settings were such that I could see their entire video library, including some weird porn.

No, I didn't have it on. I have it but I wasn't using it at the time. I wasn't talking to anyone and I don't have a mircophone.

Well, I sleep a crap load because of the medication I'm on- Zoloft. It's an antidepressant but I was put on it for social anxiety/phobia and very mild OCD. However, I sleep all day and stay up all night..I actually like that..night is my favorite part of the day. Sometimes I sleep well over 8 hours throughout the day..that medication makes me want to sleep most the time.

Wow, that sucks. I don't have limewire of iTunes though.

The answer

Put simply, your solitary pursuits are softening your brain and causing delusions. Soon you will develop dark circles around your eyes, suffer from spinal curvature, grow green hairs on your palms, and be afflicted with such malignant acne that you will have to sleep in a crib to keep from sliding out of bed. (That's just for starters.)

These symptoms will make it painfully obvious to the entire world what you get up to.

Cold showers and real girls are your only hope.

Did you check the side effects of Zoloft by any chance?

If it was careless background sound editing by the video maker, it's the kind of thing that ruins it for me. I'm the kind of tickling aficionado who doesn't like to mix nontickling-related stimuli with tickling. The act, for me, requires pureness of essence in sensory phenomena: the sight: feet or other ticklish body part; the sound: giggles, squeals; the touch: you figure it out; the taste: (tickler tongue at the ready); the smell: lotion, natural skin scent.

Anal? Sure, but we're all deviants here, and with deviants, quirks are second nature.

they do make some crazy tracking devices for computers, especially if you are on a file sharing site, and if you downloaded a bunch of viruses, who knows who could be watching.

I'm still convinced it was just your computer unwittingly sharing your media files with another on an ad-hoc network. Do you have wireless? What were you watching it on?

I like what he said!

Wow dude, that...really sucks. Either you should feel weird, it was a dream or you're batshit crazy.

A few things you can do in regard to this...

To help rule out a virus/trojan, click here: http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner and run the free online scan.

You can double up and run Panda's too if you want a second opinion: http://www.pandasecurity.com/activescan/index/?track=1&Lang=en-US&IdPais=63

If you don't have anti-virus, Avast makes a good free one, which is available for download here: http://www.avast.com/eng/home-registration.php?lang=ENG

Lastly, if you want a warning about unknown apps trying to load on your computer, Spybot Search and Destroy makes a good app - it has a lot of notifications at first, but it quiets down once it's set up. http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html After installed, set up the blacklist per the instructions (which will pop up automatically) and run a scan. It'll continue running in the background alongside your anti-virus, and helps stop spyware and adware from getting on your computer. With Spybot, generally if you're trying to install a program it may give you a bunch of warnings and you should click "Allow" so that the app you're trying to install can configure itself to function properly; but if you're just browsing web pages or something and you get such an alert, always hit Deny.
Personally I think everyone should have this.

If it's not any of those, you must have some kind of sharing program up. Assuming you're running Windows here, but you should check to see if you have VNC installed for sure. Hit Ctrl-Alt-Delete and check the Processes tab for anything that contains "VNC" in the filename, e.g. WinVNC.exe. If that's running, I'm 90% sure that's what happened. Get rid of it via Add/remove programs in the Control Panel or configure it properly to have an admin password that's not easy to guess.

Good luck.

Hey, just some advice...I was prescribed Zoloft once and I began to hear auditory hallucinations. When I told my psychiatrist, he immediately took me off of it. Maybe it could be the same for you?

I have never had it happen, but I have heard of this happening. Someone will actually "pick up" radio waves from things like blow driers and things like that. Maybe you thought they said something about tickling since you were watching it....

A computer trojan could easily do that too... Some sort of remote desktop program to see what you aredoing, even send you a message like that... Let's just hope that you didn't have a web cam for them to activate lol.
