"Old School" mid to late 90's online tickle community

My second post in a day, that's gotta be a record.

As you may or may not know, I'm not real in touch with the community anymore.

I mainly hung around in aol chatrooms in the mid to late 90s.

I also participated a lot in the newsgroups ASFT (alt.sex.fetish.tickling)

My question is how many of the people from back then are still around or are active in the community?

Let me throw out some names of popular folk from back then and people who I interacted with.

Juggler, Kujman, QBWeaver, Steve&Beth, Simon, Sciomach, TiklExpert, Oblesklk, ChadPet, ANA&Andre.... Thats just off the top of my head. There's a lot more I can't remember. Like this one individual named Donna, but I can't remember the rest of her screen name. And I won't even mention others.

Any of these people still around?

There are quite a few of us still around. Some more active in posting than others. Most of the older vets usually communicate in other ways or go to NEST and keep in touch through out the year.

I used to post under Ace919 if we were to travel in the "wayback" machine.
There were also a great bunch of people when I first got online in the #tickling IRC chatroom.

Glad you are still among us and are well.

My AOL handles back in the day were "VegeRunner" and "proteinone." Those, indeed, were the days. We all were just kinda browsing in this new thing called the web---not quite sure we could believe there were others like us after years of being unconnected with our brethren.

Here. I'll never forget. That's when I first discovered I wasn't alone, spent a lot of time in the AOL chat and wrote my first stories in the newsgroups. The initial discovery was on a friend's computer because I didn't have one yet. I left footprints everywhere but didn't even know there was a History option. Woops.

I remember the AOL Chatroom ; I used to be plain ole Lightninbug til I FORGOT my password, (DAMN !)... met a DARLIN' LADY named Flutterbyfeet on AOL...she later changed it to JoBelle . SHE turned me on to THIS Place and I MISS her terribly. Here's a couple of names from the past: T9cFeet , LilKittyKatfeet & Hawkikim. Ahhh Memories!!

AOL got to be a bunch of control freaks and they started bouncing people off for all kinds of nonsense. They at times would even close down tickling chat. The people that monitored forums and chat there were very subjective to the point of idiocy! Yes AOL thanks for preventing me from slashing my wrists, good job!

I was on way back when...then I was tcrewme...
Funny that the people I met 10-12 years ago are the people I still know best today, mostly from NEST meets and I guess the small amount of outlets for tickling back then.

Remember when a 10 sec. video clip that took 20 min to download was a big deal!!

I was aware of the community around 1997 (when Jeff's video site was up). By the time I got to Usenet, ASFT was full of spam. I don't know if it always was. AMT and ABMET had plenty of stuff.

I was in the AOL chatroom quite frequently. My handle was Boxer442. Big difference from my current name huh? I remember the first time I saw that chatroom on AOL. What a great feeling it was.

As Archie Bunker would sing "Those Were the Days". 🙂 I guess I was more of a lurker in the AOL chat room than an active participant, but I do remember chatting with quite a few people. My screen name back then is escaping me at the moment though. Many of the "regulars" in the chat room have already been mentioned, and I also remember chatting with a "Donna" back then. Wonder if she frequents the TMF?

I remember Simon. Another AOL member and I were invited out to spend the weekend with him and his family, and we ended up having a pretty amazing time. My husband (before we met) used to talk to someone named Donna Freak,, is she the one you are thinking of? And T-Bill...he was my first ever ler, and I still think fondly of him, but don't see him around here.
