On your back or stomach?

Another question for the lees. Do you notice a difference between laying on your back face up, or laying on your stomach face down? Does either position seem to tickle more than the other?

The reason I ask this, is I've only been tied face down once, and I swear it tickled more than face up by the same tickler. I don't know if it's just because I can't see my tickler, or maybe because, when her fingers were digging into my ribs, there is the added pressure of my weight on top of them. Any thoughts?

well i dont mind either i cant say one tickles more than the other only because different spots are available to tickle whichever way I lay face up or face down, but there is one spot on my lower back that drives me insane if done right that obviously you cant get to unless I am laying on my stomach

I think it depends partly on where the 'lee is ticklish. Face-down is best for foot-tickling, since it limits the range of motion for the feet. And of course it's ideal for the backs of the legs and knees, the back of the neck - basically the backs of everything. 🙂

Face-up is ideal for the fronts of the legs, tummy, hips and underarms.

The two are about equal for the sides.

I have noticed that face-down feels much more helpless: the 'lee can't see what's happening as well, and can't move as freely since he or she can't bend at the waist in that position. That extra helplessness seems to intensify the experience for a lot of 'lees.

I never thought of that. You can't move as much. Good point. I do think you can get the armpits just as well face down. There's plenty of room to get in there. At least for the kind of tickles that tickle my underarms most, the digging in kind.

Yes, for that sort I think you're right. It's not so good for 'lees who like a light touch there. So that's another example of how situational all of this is.

Then there's always the "none of the above" positions. I love chair-ties, for example. Depending on how you do them they can combine a lot of the best features of both face-up and face-down.

On balance, I think most 'lees that I've played with feel that face-down is more intense, but for certain things face-up is the only way to go. No one position is ideal for everything, so if I'm doing a serious tickle-session I'll almost always have at least one change of position in there somewhere. 😉

It tickles like crazy no matter what....but I find it makes it easier for a female 'ler to tickle my feet when I lay face down.....the soles just seem more accessible....plus, I can flex my toes against the bed, floor, her lap...wherever they may be...enabling her to really go full tilt on them....until I have to give in and wrinkle the soles up again...LOL...but, there's a freer flow to her use of her fingers...

...when in the position of 'ler...I've also found the 'lee face down just as rewarding for the aforementioned reasons...and then some....but...I'll take a lady's feet in any position, really.... 😀

As a ler, I just love that I can tickle armpits and necks and backs and rear ends and sides, the back of the knee, and the soles are upturned just waiting for you...can't go anywhere but down into the bed.

For those that like to see their lee's reactions and like face down, use a mirror that way you can see what they are doing while you are playing...

as a very very ticklish person, i get completely different feelings from being tickled face up or face down. my ass is very sensitive, and just a few light brushes of fingers across my cheeks makes me craaaaazzzzyyyy!! of course, being face down means they can tickle your anus, which can make me just scream with delight. there's a spot on my lower right back that of course can't be tickled well if i'm face up. and if i'm face down, i have come from, literally, my lover tickling me there for only about 30 seconds.

but when it comes down to it, since my ribs, my hips, my breasts and my stomach are all super ticklish, i think i favor being face up.

Hmmmmmmm.............both have their place (advantages to the LERs). Hard for me to say in which position I am more ticklish in.........thinking about it, probably face down by a small margin...........I say this because that is the favorite position shygal wants me in when I am her ...........victim.
HOWever though, in that position, it does somewhat take away from the whole psychological aspect since the face or faces of the ler or lers cannot be seen.
