LONDON (Reuters) - Women are not the only ones to turn on the acting abilities in the bedroom, said a survey released ahead of the world's largest adult festival in London.



The survey of 2,500 Britons, by organizers of the Erotica 2002 festival, said 23 percent of men claimed to have faked an orgasm, compared to 56 percent of women.


Almost half of the participants confessed to enjoying threesomes, the survey added.


Erotica said in a publicity statement sent over the weekend its survey had destroyed the myth the British are a nation of prudes. "Orgies, lust, cheating and faking it -- you name it, the British are doing it," the statement said.


Organizers of the festival, which begins on Friday, expect more than 60,000 people to attend the three-day event, where tantric sex tutors will be schooling willing pupils in the arts of sexual awareness and non-tactile arousal.


"The mass love-in will be closely monitored by security guards to stop things getting out of hand," Erotica's publicity statement added.

Well, maybe ....perhaps if they are wearing a condom. That would be the only way to fake it that I know of.

A condom is certainly one way. And by and far the easiest situation to fake in.

But without: Volume of ejaculate can vary highly, as can the level of female lubication. Given, if second is high, then the excuse that the first is very low tends to work well.

The real trick, and clincher, is after the vocal performance and apropriate body spasm, being able to go from hard to flacid in a very short time. And that's nothing more then a mental trick.

Let me explain,

If you are with someone, you want them to please you sexualy and visa versa. Well, if you fake an orgasm they will never know what you like or don't like or what works or doesn't work on you. So then you will end up having a sexually unsatisfying relationship and then leading to a ruined relationship!!!

Someone here said that orgasm should not be faked whether it be from a man or a woman. I totally agree, I really do not see how a guy can fake that one, but I know some women do. I am guilty of that one myself. The guy I was with at the time who will remain nameless to protect his innocence😛 well let's say he was the worst lover I have ever had. I had to fake, he would cum so fast before we would ever get started and then...well you can figure the rest out! Several of you have made great points about why you should NOT fake an orgasm and I totally agree.
It's so much fun to find out what satisfies your lover. Everyone is different. Different moves, different positions, different foreplay. Just go with it and find out what works best and then keep going. It's just WAY to much fun to experiment.

In my younger years faking it was the way to go for me. But as I've added on the years the feeling of sexual freedom has grown. Experimentation is the spice of love-making. Now that I'm no longer to embarrassed to ask for what makes me go Vroom, the sex seems to get better every time.

Other than realizing he is not where he wants to be,I don't know why men would fake it.That's part of the biology of it.

Maybe some "imagination" and "variety" would help out the women who fake it.I prefer the "ladies first" approach,and have never heard one complain.

There are physical problems that interfere with function,but I don't know if faking would be an answer to that.
