A man, bored with his fiancee, stuffed her in a cardboard box and buried her alive. He gets 20 years for attempted murder. But why does the friend who helped him get only 4 years? Perhaps it's a plea deal for helping the cops nail the main guy, but to me, 4 years seems ridiculously inadequate for someone who was there helping commit the crime the whole time the crime was being committed. How are they not equal partners in the crime? I don't even think 20 years is enough, for either of these two-legged animals.
