i play neopets, but unfortunately the computer i'm using at the moment(not my own) is finicky and won't let me play certain games...i also play Sims Online when i have my own computer and the money for a time card for it.

I don't want to hijack your thread Happyman, I hope its ok that I and anyone else can post about different online games other than neopet, if not I'll create a different thread and have this post tranfered there.
I don't play online as often as I'd like to. Actually, alot of the people in these online rooms where you wait to connect to a game are a-holes, I swear. They are very impatient, rude as all hell, and most of them are super nerds. Not to down nerds as a whole, but these ones definitely deserve to be called this.
For example, one time I was playing this fantasy game I have, and you can play it online against others right? It's a real-time strategy game. Anyways, it was my first time playing online, and I was trying to get used to it, the internet speed, etc, and me and my opponent agreed that for the first few minutes he'd go easy on me, leave me alone, let me build some stuff before attacking, etc. See, you can also chat with this person and send them messeges while in the game. And he started getting really impatient and just attacked me.
And he's like " you have dishonored the clan of (insert his stupid name here) with your cowardly withdrawl You do not deserve to be a member of the (blah blah blah)!" etc, this guy was TOO into it. I just said f*ck you after he kept going on and on about his little fantasy world and left before he could do anything, and then I see him talking smack about me in the chatroom saying how badly he beat me etc. I should have put him in his place there too, but thought it better not to. I'm really good with strategy games, and this game, I had it wired, I know how to play it. But online was different, and I needed to adjust. This ass just didn't want to give me that. If he had, I would have kicked his ass.
Word of advice folks- most of these people aren't friendly and just want to pick on newbies and see how far they can take it. So I'd suggest practicing with a friend who also has the game before you include others. These people play like its the end of the world, like it's their life, and its sad.
Anyways, to actually be on topic, some of the games I play or have played or want to play online are:
- Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge (have played)
- StarCraft (plus Brood War) (want to play)
- Total Annhilation: Kingdoms (have played, this is the one with that jerk I faced)
- Rise of Nations (want to play)
- Star Wars: Rebellion (want to play)

I actually played neopets for a brief time, but I lost interest really quickly. That and I didn't have the time to properly care for my pet, and I would have felt bad giving it to someone else or leaving it there to die or something.
So I e-mailed the people that run it, and told them to delete my account and everything within it.
That way, there was no guilt. 🙂
Yup, I know this sounds silly, over an imagery pet that doesn't really exist, but these type of games can be sentimental and I felt bad about it.
Thats why I prefer games where I don't have to worry about caring for a pet or whatever. Thats one reason why war games are so fun, its nothing but destruction and defense! LOL ^^

Not sure if I'd play either of those games or not..after the bad experience I (and others have) had with City of Heroes
The people making the game uploaded a new patch or something to the updater..and the day that happened, people who could play the game before, couldn't even log into the game! Their customer support SUCKS! I asked for help, and they ask me to do some test on my computer to see what's wrong with it...I do it, send in the results, and they tell me I need a new graphics card.
Uh, I thought COH only needed what's listed as the "minimum requirements" on the damn box to operate. Not only that, but they tell me to turn off my firewall/antivirus software when trying to log into the game again.
Excuse me? Turn off my firewalls and antivirus software after all the times sometimes tried to hack into my computer? I.DONT.THINK.SO.
Glad I only paid for one of those cards that'll let you play for about two months, instead of actually getting a subscription. Until they get that stuff fixed, I'll probably check out SIMSOnline..Cryptic's not getting anymore of my cash anytime soon.

Celtic your just going to have to get used to those guys. They come in worse types. People who go out of there way to be an asshole just because they can. I've met people who backstab, lie, try everything to get you killed (if your on there team) I had one guy in an FPS driving a truck I was a passenger in, he drove the truck off the cliff and hopped out before it fell. It comes with the territory. I've gotten used to it after a while.

Actually, neopets never die. Their hunger level says dying but it stays like that forever or until you feed them

I play America's Army because I could get that one for free 😀
And it's quite a nice game too
but my main source of online multiplayer entertainment is Rune: Halls of Valhalla
Roam in castles, caves and arena's with a massive axe or a mighty sword and chop, smash or slash every enemy you find to pieces 😎
Cool thing too is headball, like basketball, but the main difference is that you have to chop the head of your opponent off first, and score with the freshly severed head 😀 😎
And it's quite a nice game too

City of Heroes
I've been very busy since the game launched, I was in the Beta for City of Heroes. Of course I would try this online game. 😉
I thought about making Batman but wanted to do something original. It's a lot of fun but really more so when you have made friends to fight crime with. Solo can be done but gets so hard in higher levels.
Anyway.. hope to get back on soon. Anyone else from the TMF on City of Heroes? Later...
