Opening up by tickling.

Random thought I had today.

Because tickling play involves a ticklee who must submit to the tickler, lose complete control and be open & receptive to the tickling . . .

I was wondering if someone who's introverted, soft-spoken, shy, etc. got into tickling & got tickled for the first time (either indulging their own fetish OR satisfying a partner's desire) . . .

Would you expect it to result in a change in personality (albeit even subtle), where he or she "opens" up, becomes more outgoing and gregarious, since it may involve overcoming an insecurity, taking a risk, maybe gaining confidence.

I would think so. I know this is an abstract, profound thought, but I was wondering what others think, especially if anyone has had this experience, either in themselves or in their partner? Thank you

I'm introverted, soft-spoken, shy etc. and a ticklee but have never been tickled so I can't speak from experience. But I think submission can appeal to people with those qualities.

No. I'm a total control freak, and being into tickling means giving up all that control. It doesn't make me any less of a control freak outside of the bedroom. Sometimes, people are into things BECAUSE of their personality, and the thing will not change that personality.
