OPINION POLL: Underage content

Hopefully the title doesn't mislead you too much.

Debate has been sparked on TickleTheater (waves...yeah, i did it) as to whether underage tickling content, in a non-photorealistic and cartoon-ish form should be permitted on adult tickling fetish websites.

TickleTheater's reasoning is that, since tickling between twelve year olds (using that age as an example) is a common occurence with no sexual implications, it shouldn't be banned from the boards. They (by 'they' I mean moderators) believe that if there are no overt sexual implication in the drawing, and if the drawings are not realistic in any way (as in very cartoony), then there is no reason anyone should be aroused by them.

However, on the same site, some artists are posting pictures of twelve-ish year olds licking each other's feet. There's no way you can tell me that's not sexual. Besides which, how can it be innocent if underage characters are being specifically drawn? If there's no sexual aspect there, then age wouldn't matter, right?

My opinion is very, very clear. Underage content in ANY way shape or form needs to be kept off of so-called adult websites. It's disgusting, if you ask me.

I'm curious as to what the general consensus is here on the TMF, and thus, this poll.

Please vote honestly, as you know this is an anonymous poll.

My reasoning is two-fold, legal and ethical/moral. It is illegal to post pictures like that on websites just the same as it is illegal to put things like that in magazines or other forms of media. That should be understood period, it isn't going to change. The second, it is unethical to place those pictures on any form of media. It is also borderline pedaphilic to post them and expect someone to get satisfaction from it. Morally speaking, at least as I was raised, there is no reason to even think about it. I accept that everyone's morals are different, but we gotta draw the line somewhere. Sorry, no science on this one, just common sense.

While I belive that not all tickling has to be sexual in content and that it would be possible to find underage tickling content that lacks the sexual component, there is a lot of sexual content on this site. I don't think the sexual and underage stuff, even if the underage isn't sexual, should mix.

I think maybe you could call my view 'zero tolerance' - I think anything remotely underage should be banned and removed instantly from, as Viper said; an adult forum.

I have to agree with you 100% my friend, underage anything should not be allowed on any adult site. I am 100% against child pornography or anything related to children in an adult context. Tickling should be restricted to adult play as well. Even though I know kids tickle each other all the time and even parents of children tickle their kids but its in a playful way not sexual or at least I would hope its not sexual anyways. I am always asking ticklees that I meet in here if they are 18 or over before I even talk with them. I also let them know up front that I do not tickle anyone under 18 years of age.
Anyway even though some may disagree with you Viper I have to tell you I am on your side 100%.

Seeing as how this site is an adult fetish site dedicated to tickling, even a cartoon picture, or story, where the underage character is not tickled, doesn't seem appropriate.

It may also blur the lines for some people as to what's allowed, what isn't, what's appropriate, what isn't, and may open up a can of worms that the mods here don't want to deal with, and many of us certainly don't want to see.

It's bad enough that there is such a problem with underage members (myself included, as I registered too young), but I feel if you need to be 18 to view this site, 18 to be a member, 18 to buy porn, etc, then if you write a story or create a picture, your characters should all be of age.

Mairead just said it for me. All I want to add is the owners of this site are taking a big risk among themselves. All it would take is one person trying to circumvent the rules to get them in trouble. And as a selfish note, I'd hate to be suddenly cut off from the friends I've made here if this site were shut down.

Even as innocent as it may seem,underage is still underage. I don`t know about anyone else,but I don`t want to take the chance of Big Brother deeming this a "child porn" site because there happened to be some underage images,pictures or whatever posted,whether sexual tickling was involved or not.As soon as that happens,you can expect a knock on your door by some people who will have some serious questions for you to answer.One doesn`t get off of a child sex offender list - EVER! None of us need that! It just isn`t worth the risk!

Ditto. There are other places where people can find toon material, which is really the only questionable spot I can see. If it looks underage and acts underage, then it should be considered underage and be kept off of here.

Of course, many of us ACT underage at times. Sooo.... 😛

I've seen several posters during the past several years who's posts set off alarm bells for me (that they were pedophiles and/ or child predators). Fortunately, those types are in the very tiny minority here at TMF, but are just another frightening reason why no one under age 18 should be members here......and why nothing connected (stories, pics, videos, cartoons, etc) with underage teens/ children regarding tickling should ever be allowed here.

Oh wonderfull.I never much cared for TT anyway.I am registered there however.I am going to request that i be removed from the membership rolls.I want nothing whatever to do with that place.
