Oregon vs Ohio State

I think it'll be a great game.

Many people I know or have talked to are expecting Oregon to blow Ohio State out.

As an Oregon Ducks Fan I would love to see a blowout, but I'm not sleeping on Ohio State.

I could see them making this a 4th Quarter Game. I didn't give them much of a chance to do anything after losing QB Braxton Miller before the season started. Then they lose their 2nd String QB J.T Barrett at the end of the regular season vs Michigan. I expected them to beat Wisconsin, but certainly didn't see 59-0 coming. And I really didn't expect them to beat Alabama last week.

And I can't lie, FSU handed Oregon a lot of those points because of turnovers. Not saying Oregon would have lost without them, but it would have been much closer. Certainly not a 39 Point blowout.

And I also must say, I like the College Football Playoffs a whole lot better than the BCS System.

If the BCS System was still being used, I don't think either team would be in the Championship.

It would have likely been Alabama vs FSU going for the Title.

Alabama because they were Ranked #1, and after winning the SEC Championship, they weren't gonna drop at all.

And FSU would have been #2 because after winning the ACC Championship, the fact that they had 0 Losses would have boosted them over Oregon and Ohio State, who each have 1 Loss.

Just so the Ducks don't let it all go to their heads. If they do, it might be a blow-out the other way.

I'm torn on who I want to see win.

I'd like to see Oregon win because I like seeing guys go out on top. In all likelihood this will be Mariota's final game as a Oregon Duck. He hasn't made the Official Announcement yet, but I'll be stunned if he doesn't declare for the NFL Draft.

But I also think it's been an Amazing Season for Ohio State. To lose a Heisman Caliber QB before the season even starts, and then losing your 2nd String QB leading into the Bowl Games, Urban Meyer has done a great job keeping the team on track. And I think a 3rd Stringer coming off the bench, beating Wisconsin 59-0 in the Big Ten Championship in one game, beating #1 Alabama in the next game, and then finishing it all off with a National Title by beating the High Powered Oregon Ducks would also be a great story.

So I'll be happy with whoever wins.

Who do I think will win? I think like the Rose Bowl vs Florida State, it'll start out close. But Oregon will pull away as the game goes on.

And I don't think there's any denying it, the College Football Playoffs are a whole lot better than the B.C.S.

After watching both the Rose and Sugar Bowls, I'd say the edge lies with Oregon.

Ohio State had to fight hard for its victory, Oregon harassed Jameis Winston all day long, causing him to force the ball into tight spots and bad decisions.

Plus the fact that Oregon hasn't won a national title and Ohio State has 7 national titles. I'd like to see Oregon win it.

Being "out west"..I'm rooting for Oregon!!! But it doesn't matter to me, if OSU pulls through either.

I'm just glad the "Crimi-Noles", finally got knocked out!!! Not gonna debate why I call them that..but those that have followed their "off-field" activities..sure can figure it out!!! Sorry..FSU fans..just my little "two cents" worth.

Anyway...GO DUCKS!!!!!

It's not hard to figure out why you called them that.

Everyone outside of Florida State couldn't wait to see them lose. They were like the 07 New England Patriots. The Team that everyone outside of the Fan Bases hated, plenty of Controversy, and everyone was so ecstatic when they finally lost.
