The "right" action would have been punished as any other criminal would have been in the USA given enough proof he was behind 9/11. I know some states do the death penalty and some don't, and while I won't bother thinking about which would have been "right", it would have made a FUCK LOAD of a lot more sense to bring the guy in for information and punishment than to have a shoot out in his own hold up.

As a side note, this thread has more GR violations than anything I've ever seen. Everybody is so pro USA that they don't realize that a fuckfest of a fight on a forum won't make their beloved USA better.

It's rather pathetic to watch. While the handling of the situation was poor in my opinion, if he was responsible for the attacks, him being AWAY from the equipment and/or people that work with him is a good thing, dead or alive.

the 'experts' claim he was supposed to be killed by his own people before the troops... too bad that didnt happen

now- normally, am i for the death penalty- in most cases, no. however, i dont see how this would have had any other result- this was a man who ENJOYED what he did, and took great pride in knowing how many he killed- keeping him alive would have done no good..... at all.... other than give him more opportunity to get instructions and such to his followers in some way....
