Pagans?

Does anyone here describe themselves as such? Wiccans and so on? I know a handful of peeps here who are, but I'd be curious to find out just how many there and what the beliefs and practices are.

I sometimes call myself a pagan in conversations and email, mostly as a joke. It saves me the trouble of having to explain that as an Atheist, I am not in fact a devil worshipper (somebody actually asked me that once)

And I suppose on some levels, if you compare it to certain societal opinions and theologies, it's actually a fairly accurate description 😎

Pagan describes me as well as anything. Strictly speaking, I'm a Thelemite.

Technically I could be described as a "pagan" because I'm not a religious person, though I don't like the term because it has multiple meanings (look it up in the dictionary). The same goes for "atheist," which I'm not because I don't deny there's a God (or say there's one). Just call me your average agnostic and I'll be happy. 😀

By "pagan" I was more in the way of describing people who follow spirituality that is regarded as "pre-Christian".

Wiccan here, which is really weird, considering I was raised Roman Catholic and am now semi Catholic/semi Buddhist...It's a long story love!

I'm sure I'll be in good company if and when I do. If the bible is right I think I'll have much more in common with the Devil anyway.

I know we have some Wiccans around here. There were at least two practicing Wiccans on Tickle Theater - although I haven't seen either of them post for some time.
