When I am tickled my body just dies, and I can't move anywhere, I don't thrash around or anything like that. Does anyone else experience that?
 
Paralysis happens to a small percent of people who are tickled. For some reason the tickling causes thier nervous system to lock up, and they have to just lie there and take it.

It's a pretty small number of people, probably less then 1% of the population if I had to make a wild guess. In the large number of lees I've enjoyed I've only seen it twice.

Quite fun though.

I have a couple of spots...actually a combination of spots that will often do that to me if you get them just right. I have to admit that I kinda like it. When I can't move to fight, there's less distraction from enjoying it...even if I AM going out of my mind! :shock::happyfloa
 
Oh I never saw that, - does paralysis mean that they cannot even put their arms down, if able to?..
 
Its more like every muscle just goes limp and so your like a ragdoll. You can move but its more like flinches, you can't thrash around or make definate movements, you just basically go like a ragdoll. It's not like rigor mortis ( I imagine)
 
My lees always have trashed around, guess I won't ever meet such person. Doesn't matter, the wild ones prove to be fun enough. Yeehaw!
 
Well I dont thrash around hardly at all to begin with but, when tickled, I get kind of weak and my body seems to like to focus on my laughter and not getting away...so I just lay there giggling and occssionally giggling out a "stooop" or "dooont".

there is this one spot..

that when tickled just right will have me paralyzed with hysterical laughter.
may i also say, i love it when that happens?
now if i can just find a nice lady to demonstrate... lol

OMG! i totally do that. not only do i do that, i also let my ler move me into better tickle positions (for them, not me 😉 )and i willingly hold myself in that position. i didn't know others did that! wow i'm glad you posted that.
 
I've been a little worried actually that it's bad reactions! I guess not, judging by the replies. Is this a good thing? I've never thrashed around or been able to defend myself...
 
well i think of it this way. i just love being tickled that when i am being tickled i just kinda become extreamly limp and just laugh my head off. i don't think it's a bad thing at all. just lay back and enjoy:triangle:

I can move when tickled lightly but I go limp when tickled a lot. I laugh like crazy either way.
 
I am very ticklish and the only way to give me a real good tickling would be to tie me up as i would thrash around alot. However i had a girlfriend some years ago who could tickle my ribs in a way that completely parylised me. I could do nothing but take it for as long as she tickled me, no restraints needed, mind you, it was great !!
 
I've seen it happen a couple times before, it's cute the first couple times, but it gets on my nerves after awhile because I can't figure out if the 'lee is faking it or not. Perfect if you know they're not faking and you want to really torture them though :devil2:.
 
I certainly don't fake it! I don't think it's something you would be able to fake, it's different than just not physically reacting, there is a reaction but it's opposite to thrashing around.
 
I wouldn't say paralyzed, just sometimes if I'm losing the battle and get tickled in the right spot, I get where I can't do anything but laugh. The fight just slips out of me for a while...
 
I knew a girl in college who would basically go limp if her feet were tickled. She would laugh and giggle helplessly but couldn't seem to move.
