Pedicures Really Do Tickle!

Well, I found out the other day that pedicures really do tickle. Being a guy, I've never really been in a situation where I felt the need to get a pedicure. After all, those are mostly for girls, right? I've always wondered, though, do they really tickle as much as people say they do? I never imagined I would personally find out for myself!

My friend Erica just got a pedicure the day before, and she was talking to a few friends of mine about it. I wasn't even really in on the conversation, but as soon as I heard the word "tickle," my ears perked up.

She said, "Oh my God; it tickled a lot! I was laughing."

At that, I asked, "What tickled?" I hadn't really been paying attention.

She replied that it was her pedicure. I realized this was my chance to lead into some tickle talk, so I told her that girls are wimps and it couldn't tickle THAT much.

Well, immediately I had all these women in my face screaming about how it DOES tickle and a guy wouldn't last a second if he had to get a pedicure. I replied that guys are tougher and could last the whole pedicure without laughing even if it did tickle.

One of them immediately replied, "Prove it."

I answered that I wasn't going to get a pedicure, they're too girly, and a few other comments.

Then, one of them said, "How about we make a wager. You let us give you a pedicure, and if you laugh, you pay for dinner out tonight. If you prove you're tougher than women, then we'll split the bill, and you don't pay a dime."

Well, I agreed, since I was curious to see if it tickled anyways. Also, who can resist the chance at getting a free dinner, and if they gave me the pedicure, it wasn't as if anybody else would see me.

Well, I lasted a couple minutes just squirming, but I eventually laughed. Of course, I suppose some of the tickling could have been done on purpose, but I don't think so.

Anybody else ever get tickled while getting a pedicure?

Of course. I get a pedicure every six weeks, and it always tickles, at least for a few seconds. Professional pedicurists will do everything not to tickle you though, so the girls probably did tickle you on purpose. 😉

Yes, you are right, alot of the tickling was more than likely done on purpose.
But in general, pedicures can leave you giggling.

I had one about three weeks ago and it was very intense. Usually I can handle it with a little squirming but this time they were busy so I sat with my feet in the foot spa for 10 mins. By the time the girl got to me my feet were so sensitive the slightest touch would have set me off. This chick started using the sponge and as I am squirming like hell in the chair she asks if I am ticklish. I nodded yes with me biting my lip. Well I swear that spurred her on. Not only did she use the sponge with the rougher side twice...she used the brush twice and she was not very gentle. I almost went through the roof. I didn't laugh since the place was packed with people but it almost hurt to hold it in. Hell ya they tickle.

i've only received one professional pedicure for this reason. it tickled so much, i was actually fearful of kicking the poor woman in the face. she did tickle me a couple of times on purpose when she found out i was so ticklish, but i don't think she really tried after that. i still could hardly handle it.

i would get them done more if i didn't feel the pedicurist was in danger. having been in their position in the past, i'd hate to kick and hurt someone. i'll just stick with giving them to myself.

Yeah, kicking can be dangerous. Luckliy I didn't kick a lot.

I'm lucky though....the pedicurist doesn't have to use the tickly thing on me too much because I don't have a lot of dead skin on my feet. Therefore the tickling only lasts about 10 seconds.

OMG. I love getting pedicures for the simple reason that they do tickle. I wish i could find a pedicurist that would make house calls. She/He could tickle me the whole time and I wouldnt have to disrupt any other customers. I love having my feet tickled. It's awesome.

Geez, I love pedicures because they tickle and at the same time you dont want to make a noise so you sit there and squirm and do everything to let them do their job while you try to keep all the giggles inside <3 lol i love it
My girl who does mine, I get it done at least monthly though I might go even more now that summer is starting for me, tries so hard not to and while she is giving me the massage does this thing where her thumbs massage the top while her fingers massage the sole and she has long nails, wearing latex gloves with oil and lotion on my feet - that tickles just as bad as the stone and brush for me XD funny, though, it's like she forgets each month XD cause she'll go "Oh, yea, youre ticklish" and I'll giggle and go "yea" and cover my smile

Its not like shes forgetting, but it sounds like shes using Asian "tag lines", like "Pick Color" or "You pay Now "
