Dont toot the Philly horn yet. They wont play Jake Delhomme every week. Next week you have Drew Brees. Wont be anywhere as easy.

But Philly looked good, just hope that McNabb's rib (they say last I heard was cracked) still lets him play.

Still a great game by Philly, and a well deserved win.

Philly was amazing today! I'm just hoping they keep it up for the rest of the season.

Yeah, I know. I was just getting a little carried away. Trying to stir things up a lil bit. Actually, I'm a die-hard Eagles fan, but I thought for sure they were going to lose the game to Carolina. And I almost always pick the Eagles every week. I thought there were too many question marks going into the game, but I was pleasantly surprised by the defense and the o-line. The McNabb injury is a concern. Definitely was a late hit on him that wasn't called, but oh well. I have zero confidence in Kevin Kolb and they're going to have to score a lot of points to beat the high-powered Saints offense next week. And don't get me started about Michael Vick. Can't stand the guy. That's one reason it is hard for me to go crazy about the Eagles this year. I will root for the Eagles to succeed, but won't root for Vick to succeed when he's in there.

When was the last time McNabb stayed healthy for an entire season? Hopefully the Saints will hand the Eagles their asses next week.

One Week At A Time

I'm a huge EAGLES fan & I agree this was a big win. I also agree that they will not be playing the Panthers every week. Also things may be touch and go with McNabb being hurt. But I've learn one thing from last season, take things one week at a time. Lets see how things unfold.

If McNabb is unable to play against the Saints then one could only hope Kolb fulfills his role as backup QB and leads the Eagles to victory or at least prevents a massacre. If McNabb is hurt for the long term though then starting week 3 I see Vick getting a lot more time behind center...and then we'll see how strategic a choice it was to include him on their roster this season.
