Ok friends, here's an update (sort of) legislationwise...
Governor Arnold recently signed AB488 requiring all registered sex offenders to be posted on the Attorney General's Internet web site on or before July 1, 2005.

Under the new law, the public is granted Internet access to info including the registered home address on 1)Virtually ALL offenders convicted of committing a lewd act with a child under 14 OR whose crime involved fear or force as an element
2) Virtually all sex offenders convicted of two or more sex offenses in separate trials and 3) ALL sexually violent predators.

Thanks for caring friends~thank goodness it all went down when I was at work! But witnesses describe it as VERY dramatic! The canine unit showed up, one of the officers in an unmarked suburban grabbed a AK 47 out of his trunk!!! These people were worse than I thought... Basically they hung themselves, and I'm ECSTATIC, didn't have to lift a finger. My instincts about people, I find, are right most of the time...

Here's my account from another thread:

One of these idiots tested dirty (meth) and his parole officer showed up to take him back, they found out all THREE of the vehicles at the house were stolen, that they'd been selling crank out of the house~they even installed a vid cam so they could see who was approaching the house Real friggin rocket scientists, these trashbags.
Oh ya,and BTW, they had all been released from Folsom State Pen (yep, the one in the song) to illustrate what kind of loser you have to be to get in here, the place once housed Charlie Manson.

Worse of all, there will little kids in the house, their mom was the only one who had no clue because she works two jobs. She's the only one they didn't arrest. She feels terrible about it, I made friends with her--bad news: one of the four got away, the other three were thank God taken back (BUH-BYE!) We even ended up adopting one of their kittens! (Such suckers we are, I know!)
