I don't exactly live in a ritzy community either but there used to be a lot more prostitution and drug activity around here. Not so much anymore due to the cops making their presence known by driving around a lot more. Call the cops and tell them your concerns. The least they can do is send a squad car to patrol the area more frequently. Know your neighbors and keep a neighborhood watch.

They'd never allow drugs or prostitution round here. It's just a nice, middle class comm, lots of elderly and families...I'm looking fwd to your friend's response, BTW~you ROCK!

personally, i say they should be given a chance. If you have problems with what there doing, sometimes the best thing is to take it up with the person, though i'll leave that to your judgement.

Somehow I get the impression that cosmo_ac has never done what he is advocating here (I.E., take up the issue face-to-face with the offending party(s) on the street where he lives, the very same street that he must return to every night to roost and rest up for the demands of the next day).

Steph, my comment about prejudice has NOTHING to do with color. It's about using their past and assuming they're the same way. Sometimes it takes time for people to adjust to their environment. I hope the new neighbors get with the program and not bring any crime to the neighborhood. I hope everything turns out okay. But if you catch them doing ANYTHING wrong, I'll turn them in for you.

Wouldn't that be funny to get a police complaint about a CA resident from OH?😉
