you all are probably right. i just wonder what makes someone want to do this, it seems like wasted time and effort.

Why I don't get is why they want to try to pretend to be the hottest woman they can possibly be if they know every one will be out to call them a fake or automatically assume they are one? The only conclusion I could draw is when they get the online play they want they are imagining it happening to their dream women that they have pretended to be. If it were me though I would chose a slightly less attractive female that would look more believable if my goal was to get fap material. I would think I probably would get twice the amount of guys to talk to me. Now I'm not saying there aren't real attractive women on here because there are. I saw quite a few at NEST.

But that's purely subjective. Where is the line drawn? New clothes? A new hair cut? Jenny Craig? Braces? Make up? Regardless of what one does to themselves they are still themselves. If I got a face lift i'd still be GQguy. If "Ticklellover69" lost 100 lbs...he'd still be the same guy.

But using a photo of someone that is not you is a VERY objective boundary. If I posted a pic of a person that wasn't me.....it's not me and never will be.

You know, there are some websites that actually take steps to prevent the fake profiles from appearing. Some sites use verification, which probably wouldn't work here because so many people are concerned about giving their personal info to a fetish site. Other sites just IP ban fake profiles rather than deleting them. Most people aren't willing to go through the trouble to get around an IP ban, and it can greatly cut down the amount of fakes that appear. Does this site employ IP bans?

Sometimes discussion yields solutions to problems (le gasp!) and can turn out to be productive.
