Hi guys, I don't ever ask this, but I could really use some love and good energy sent to my grandma tonight. She has COPD and we nearly lost her on Christmas eve. She has just been taken by ambulance to the hospital as her health is failing very fast. Maybe i'm being selfish, but there's something cruel about the possibility of losing someone on a night when you vow that everything in your life will be good again.

Quick update:

I just got off the phone with my mom, and my grandma's going to stay with my parents. She is being sent home on oxygen and I couldn't be happier. I realise that her COPD will take her from me, eventually, but now I can rest easy knowing it won't be tonight. And finally, it will be a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Thank you all SO much for the out pour of concern and well wishes. I love you all very much and I am very lucky to have friends like all of you!! I wish you all a safe and happy New Year - And with that, I say- Bring on 2012!!

I'm very glad to see your grandma's doing better. If she's anything like my grandmother was, she's a tough "old bird" with some fight still left in her.
