This is an idea I've been sitting on for awhile on how to recruit models. The reason I've waited so long is because I'm sure many will find it invasive and controversial, but I don't think it really has to be so.
Many of our esteemed tickle producers have Myspace, and many pretty girls have Myspace (and Facebook). And we all have Myspace (and Facebook). So why don't we all chip in and help them find lees?
Simply put, if we see a girl who's really pretty, we could send a producer a link to their page. We could use this thread to post links, or we could PM specific producers so as to not have a link to a girl's page floating around for all to see. It would be best to be mindful of the girl's location and the producer's location. For example, if you're recommending a girl in NYC, send her link to a producer that operates in NYC.
From there, producers could send a the girl (if they so choose) a message on Myspace, Facebook, or whatever other networking site a message offering her work. It doesn't have to be invasive and harassing; on the contrary, it is in the mutual best interests of the producer, the girl, and the community at large for the message to be polite, professional, and descriptive. After all, the producers are essentially business owners and this would simply be an attempt to contact a potential client.
A proper message would run something along the lines of "Greetings. I was browsing Myspace and came across your profile. I run a business that produces tickle fetish videos and would like to know if you are willing to model for us." Producers, put a link on your own Myspace that leads to your clips4sale store (don't put it in the message, or else the girl would be inclined--quite justifiably--to believe that it's only a spam message with a link containing a virus), as well as sample videos on your page to allow the potential model to see that your business is legit as well as to see what exactly it would entail. Mention payment as and if appropriate (I don't know much about that sort of thing), say that shoots take place in a relaxing, friendly atmosphere, mention that any specific needs she has can be accommodated if possible, so on and so forth. If she accepts your offer, then great! If not, you thank her for your time and let her know that should she change her mind, you would be happy to do business with her. And of course, remember to mind your spelling and grammar; these are supposed to be professional in their appearance.
Many of you might think this is harassing and invasive, but I don't think so; at least, not if we all conduct our affairs in a business-like and professional manner. I think this is a good idea. A really good model seems to come around once every so often, but this way we can increase the chances of actually seeing a girl we REALLY like, if only slightly. I freely admit that I have a few female friends on Myspace that I would die to see tickled (this being the reason I'm posting this message), and this is better than waiting around for a slightly above-average-looking girl to discover the wonderful world of tickling on her own (even though I'm well aware of how small the chances of seeing any one specific girl in a future video actually is). Not only that, but it could raise people's awareness of our underground fetish and help bring tickling into the mainstream, especially if people see it as an industry of courteous, professional business owners rather than perverted sleazebags trying to cop a feel on some college girls.
So what do y'all say? Is this a good idea that we should all jump on? I honestly believe it could really help producers find good models, if only a little bit. So does anybody have any Facebook/Myspace/etc. profile links they want to post, even in a PM to certain producers?
