I was watchingvAnchorman before with a bunch of friends, we were all laughing, and doing our own commentary, funny stuff. But I starting laughing and my jaw or neck or something still felt strained afterward.
Does this make sense to anyone else?

Not necessarily a pulled muscle, but...

It sounds like a heat cramp. You're probably dehydrated and need to drink at least a few quarts of water. This sort of thing happens to me, frequently, because I drink a large amount of coffee (which is a diuretic and dehydrates you.). Sometimes, when I yawn, and this happens in the soft area under my lower jawbone and above my throat, it's one of the most agonizing pains in the world.

I've pulled a muscle in my jaw from eating once .. it felt like I was punched.

I have pulled a muscle in my neck (super annoying) and i have laughed til my face trembled with the strain and stung like hell, but never pulled a muscle in my face, thankfully.

I pull the neck muscle during sessions every now and again too, SO painful.
