Well, would you? If you knew there was chance you might get "apprehended" by the stock proprieters, would you go in?
 
The only two renfaires I know of that feature tickling are Kujman's and Marco's. Kuj is centred around New Jersey I think and Marco is in Canelli in Italy.

I think I'd probably take both my sets of stocks to one if it were likely they could be used in fun. I dunno how it'd be worked though.
 
That skit's run in many places, using stocks or pillories to hold someone then tormenting them. While most places don't focus on tickling, there's several California fairs that do such, and at least one in Nevada, that I've worked back in the day. They focused much more on drubbing (dousing with water) than on anything else, 'cause California's HOT during fair season.

Legally, in California especially, it's tricky business, 'cause you can't cross ANY boundaries without serious legal repercussions. Dunno about such laws in England. Do make sure the person has a means to indicate "enough" such that you don't cross such boundaries yourself. Even with the law on your side, angry fathers/brothers/husbands/lovers can cause a wealth of pain.
 
The law is by and large much more easygoing and people less likely to turn litigacious. Even I don't know what sort of setup you'd need though.

I live in Liverpool and I would definitely try and turn up if something like this happened anywhere in England.
 
It would be interesting tosee if any of our lady members would consider doing so. The event without lees would be somewhat empty after all.
 
Your right, that would definitely be something to check out if there were some ladies that were prepared to go.

One of the things I like about the tickling renfaires, is that the lees involved are not members of our community. They're members of the public who turn up for the show then get "arrested" by guys dressed as soldiers or guards and then go through about five minutes of tickling in the stocks. Everything seems to be done in good spirit, at least, the ones I've seen do.
