Question for those who have told vanilla people about the tickling fetish

I know that most vanilla people have never even thought about tickling as a fetish, but I'm curious about the reaction of most vanilla people when they learn that such a fetish exists, and that someone they know is into the fetish. For we tickle fetishists, tickling and sex are linked in a way that makes it difficult to have one without the other. So how do vanilla people usually react to the notion that sex should involve one person being restrained while the other person tickles the crap out of them, leading to both people becoming aroused, leading to sex, and resulting in climax, possibly with the tickling continuing throughout the sex act? Which of these following reactions is closest to the way most vanilla people seem to react to such an idea:

A) "You know, I've never thought about tickling and sex before, but that sounds hot! Let me get some rope so we can try it right now!"

B) "Eh, I could take it or leave it. Tickling doesn't turn me on, but I might be willing to experiment occasionally if my partner was into it, just to make my partner happy."

C) "What's wrong with you? You tickle fetishists are perverts. You probably have all kinds of illegal pervy porn on your computer, and you're probably also a serial killer. I'm calling the authorities."

So which comes closest to the way vanilla people tend to react to the tickling fetish?

D) "If that makes you and your partner happy, go do it. Me, what I like is ___________."

The two vanilla friends I told some time ago both said versions of that, above. The blanks were filled in with 1) "just fucking all night." and 2) "cumming between her breasts and shooting it onto her face."

The thought of tickling as a sexual act was so far from both of their minds that they never conceived of trying it.

In my experience, most guys were like "that's it?" cuz I had made a big deal about it, other guys seemed into it but I think they were just happy making me happy. All in all, I guess the first choice in the list of responses is closest.

I agree with Annie...
Most of the people I told were like "that's it? That's so cute an innocent!"
Haven't had too many bad experiences as of yet and my vanilla boyfriend indulges me.
So, I'm not complaining!
:peace:

Well, in the case of both Annie and Anonymiss, the person telling vanillas about the tickling fetish is a hot girl 🙂 I think hot girls could get away with convincing vanilla guys to indulge pretty much any fetish. I'm really curious though if this is the case the other way around. I wonder how vanilla girls are reacting when TMF guys tell them about tickling...

C comes closest to the reaction I've received, though only one actually contacted the police.

I'm not sure which is closest, I'm used to a "oh ok, cool" they aren't interested nor judgemental really, I keep good company tho, I don't think I could be friends with people who treat my interests with disrespect and hurtful comments.

Not even on the scale of "no-brainer"...

Judging by the reactions I've had over the years, they mostly range from enthusiasm to curiosity. I've never had a negative outcome.

Never a C thankfully. The only people I've told about it are girls I've been involved with in some way, and would like to try it out with them. Only told maybe 2 friends in my whole life.

But like Haribish, I keep mostly good company 🙂

Show, not tell. Sitting there and lecturing people about it is coming to come off as some variety of creepy to a lot of people. Doing it in a way that would be fun for them and showing them how great it is is way better.

Someone actually called the cops on you? Did they come to your door?

No, The only reason I know the police were called is my best friends sister is a police officer. She was seeing the detective who had taken the call and he had told her about it. He didn't know she knew me, he told her the caller kept insisting that anyone who got off on tickling women was a pervert and more than likely dangerous too.

A. It's always been A because of this:

Show, not tell. Sitting there and lecturing people about it is coming to come off as some variety of creepy to a lot of people. Doing it in a way that would be fun for them and showing them how great it is is way better.

There needs to be damn sticky about this already with Comfort Eagle's response copied and pasted. Dammit.

most are in between B and C with me. I basically just say I like making girls laugh, and that often entails tickling. I'm trying to be even more subtle lately, if some girl tells me they're bummed or someone I'll text "sounds like you could use............ a finger in the armpit!"

Since I'm a lee, I usually get the "I hate being tickled, but hey, to each their own.". Most people just don't care!

My 'favourite' response ever was "Oh thats fine, its notbad at all...just don't tickle me though"

It was a confusing moment for me, i admit 🙁

Most people I have talked to about it say it's "bizarre" or "really interesting". Haven't had too many negative responses, mostly curious ones!

It always depends on the person, how long they've known you as well as their relation to you. Also their morals, values and upbringing might come into play. Sometimes Vanilla people just can't understand and its not because they are close-minded, its because they don't always know how it feels to have a true fetish.

I've told some of my gay guyfriends who were ok with it. Being gay, they were not too judgemental. Some laughed and said it was "different". Another said he couldn't understand because he hates to be tickled.

As for telling a significant other, I've experienced both ends of the spectrum....

Mostly A and B. "C" only once! From my ex-wife of all people. Guess that's why she's an ex.....
