Another cow fact: The ratio of cows in a field lying down and doing nothing compared to the total number of cows in that field is the percentage that it will rain.

(i.e. You see 8 out of a total of 10 cows lying down and doing nothing, therefore...8 OUT OF 10 COWS AGREE IT'S GOING TO RAIN)

and then there's the Newfy way of telling the weather and the Newfy shot of tequila .

If the rock is covered in white stuff, it is snowing. If the rock is swinging, it is windy. If the rock casts a shadow, it is sunny. etc. etc. etc.

To take a Newfy shot of tequila: you must have salt, a lemon wedge and a shot of tequila. Place the salt along the webbing between your thumb and index finger. Suck on the salt, squeeze the lemon juice into your eye and then, while holding on to the shot glass, throw the tequila over your shoulder.

changing the subject completely.......I dunno whether it's the same for any of you guys or not but have you ever noticed that when couples go out driving,even though both can drive it is always the males that do the driving and not the women-it's the same throughout my family.How weird is that?It's probably just a sexist stereotype that has been passed on over the years.

In my friends' case there's good reason: the car the gent owns is a brand new Mitsubishi Spyder convertible, which is a stick. Of course that hasn't stopped my other friend, the female, from driving it and the two of them destroying the clutch... XP

ok, get this. i call my friend yesterday to see what's up, and he's on his way to Pennsylvania! i'm all shocked, since i've been dying to take a vacation up north, to escape the heat here, and he says he didn't mention it earlier because he thought i didn't wanna stay in the car for 15 hours. boy was i pissed. been dying to head up there, meet a TT member or 2, experience the lovely weather and great view, and with transportain taken care of, i would've jumped at it in an instant.

so he's promised to bring me a souvinear, like that would suffice. 🙄
