Random banter thread 3

LOL it certainly elimates traffic congestion or IS the answer to road rage..nice model! I have also dabbled in 1/35th armour, but I hate painting the road wheels!

The great thing about the KV/Stalin series of tanks is no rubber portion on the road wheels to paint 😀

This is very true, I also read the T-34 tanks rolled right off the factory and into the frontline, so not in dark green paint, just left bare steel! I don't know if that might peak your interest....adds a different angle of presenting a WWII Soviet Tank.

I have seen a few T-34 models done up like that The builders did a great job on showing the bare metal starting to rust That is hard to do Right now I am almost done with a 1/48 SU-122 from Tamiya I am also working on a Panzer III Ausf L in that scale

really - cool, we're going to have to start a model building thread you and I, LOL! I have taken garden dirt and hammered it to the consictancy of flour, with a little white glue and water - viola! actual mud splattered on armour model.
Take a fine plant root and dip it in tealeaves, that should replicate tree branches camouflaging your 1/48th Panzer III, (just an idea to add to your armour?) I figured your panzer III is equipped with side skirts, as Tamiya is very good at details!

No side skirts for this version I think only the Ausf M and L's had those

Random Little Willie poems:

Willie saw some dynamite, Couldn't understand it quite; Curiosity never pays: It rained Willie seven days.

Willie with a thirst for gore, Nailed his sister to the door. Mother said with humour quaint, "Willie dear, don't scratch the paint."

Baaaaaaaah!!! So I'm just sitting here playing Oblivion, and out of nowhere, right in the middle of a mission, I get one of those stupid "windows has encountered an error and must close this program" messages. AND I JUST REINSTALLED IT!!! WTF!!!

*starts downing 8 bottles of Jack a minute*

LOL! Tell me about it! I havent played oblivion b4 though, but I did have that error message come up. Its not an installing problem, however. It usually happens if you've been playing for a long time non-stop. Hope you didnt loose too much. 🙂

Nah, I didn't really lose anything. Being an experianced RPG'er, I know that one of the first rules of any RPG is...save.....ALOT! And when you can pretty much save anywhere at anytime, such as the case with O, I generally save every 5 or so minutes.

And I know that you're probably right, though I've gone really long periods of time before without getting a CTD. And other times (like that one), I'll have only been playing for 20 or so minutes. It's just bothering me cuz I hadn't been having any till I installed a few new mods (which I've already uninstalled), but so far I've gotten two CTDs since reinstalling and loading my old mods that I've already had on for a long time. But as long as it's not that often it should be ok.

And on a side note, I can't wait till I've got enough money to afford a new 512 video card anyway.😀

lol PENGUIN! Man! I could have accepted the joker, or even... well, no, Mr Freeze would have been worse, but even so, The Penguin?!

I choose to go with Journia's original judgement: I'm Michael Corleone from Godfather Pt 2 (we'll assume 3 never happened), and 'if history has taught one thing, it's that you can kill anybody'

Rock on.

Penguin.

From this day forth, that will be your assigned nickname.

Deal with it.

*ahem*

'You're nothing to me now. You're not a brother, you're not a friend. I don't want to know where you are or what you do. I don't want you in the hotels, or near my house. When you see our mother, I want to know a week in advance so that I won't be there. Do you understand?'

Only when you reply to her posts, H2.....
