Random Banter Thread

I never forget the "kill the fool with the ysalimiri" from jedi knight ^^

Me neither! What do you think of the New Jedi Order books? Good or not so good?

Not read any of the starwars books for ages! Are the new ones the ones with that new race that someone invented cause they'd run out of plot ideas?

Yeah, it looks that way. The New Jedi Order ones are all about the New Republic's war with a new race called the Yuuzhan Vong, and the current follow up trilogy features a new race called the Killiks. At least I think those are the ones in the Dark Nest trilogy.
Personally, these days I'm actually starting to look forward to the prequel books more than I am the post ROTJ ones. My big problem with the NJO books started when they killed off Chewbacca right off the bat.

Meh, I leave em to it. I like the old style stuff like you said, the prequels.

Thank you! Nice to find someone else here who likes the prequel era better 😀 Somehow, Anakin, Padme, Obi-Wan, and Mace always seemed like cooler characters than Luke, Han, and Leia. At least to me.

Yeah! Though to be honest the new films are totally different to the first ones, Though it may annoy some hard core fans, I think the last film is the best one of all 6 ^^ .

Well, I'd say it's definitely tied with Empire Strikes Back, which was my favorite since I was a kid. You're right though. The new ones do sort of have a different feel. Then again, this was a different time in the Galaxy Far Far Away.
One thing that's kind of odd about me is I never really found Jar Jar that annoying. I actually found him pretty funny, for cheap physical comedy if nothing else.

😛 . Where Kalamos been for the last few days by the way? Sure I've hardly seen him around...

Yeah no kidding. If he doesn't show up again soon, Nessie might change the topic title again 😛 I know he's been here a little bit earlier in the day, but I'm not sure what he's been up to nowadays.

Well, I've been missing him......

....But now I've got my rifle adjusted 😛 .

I'm just spying on you guys.
I am not as talkative as you could be led to think.

...

EDIT:

Ah!

Barret light fifty, just in case 😉 .

Ah ok. For some reason, I could have seen you using an AK-47 or something.

Meh! 47's are for wusses! Though it is the most produced gun in the world. (where the hell do I find all of these facts >.< ).

Oh yeah. My bad. *Goes to check about the Barret Light Fifty* Ohhh that's a nice gun!

The nice think (<--- "K" is now replaced by "G") about the AK is how "bulky" it is. The generous clearances between moving parts and tapered cartridge case design allow the gun to endure large amounts of foreign matter and fouling without failing to cycle.

You could practically pour sand down the barrel and it'll still fire.

no, 47's are a reliable rifle, the first round out of the chamber is very accurate, making it a great sniping rifle, their rugged, reliable, and won't jam. and they can be customized up the wazoo.

that's another true fact. it was first designed right after WW2, and still is in service today, that's how great that weapon is. and what makes it a great weapon in desert and snow.
