Yes they would have a leg to stand on. Their pictures were taken without their consent, and even though they may have posed just to be nice, none, to my knowledge or the OPs admission, has never given permission to take their pics, or signed a release form. And if they need proof that their pictures were taken, all one has to do would go to the OPs website and look at themselves.
I would like for him or you for that matter to go up to some random strange girl and start taking pictures, and see how far you get before they do something. Or for that matter say "hey can I take pics of your feet and post em on a fetish forum so people can drool over em?" And see how many volunteers you get.
