Saints choke!

The seahawks ride ends next week no matter who they play.

Didn't someone say that yesterday? Looks like the Seahawks didn't get that memo either.....

Maybe they go next week, maybe they don't. At least there is something to make these playoffs interesting.

Id be shocked if the jets beat the Pats. the Jets are just average at best. they beat a sub par colts team.

WOW Pats got there ass whipped by a average team this year, keep those words soft and easy to chew cause on any given Sunday or Saturday anyone can beat anyone EVEN THE PATS

Seahawks blew their load yesterday. that was their superbowl. their superbowl run ends next week. guaranteed. :ty:

Oh i know that. but the odds are very slim. this isnt the Pats of the past. they are taking no prisoners now and not underestimating anyone. again, i thank the browns for beating the Pats this year and lighting a fire under their asses! :ty:

Haha, I love all of this "Saints choked, Hawks do not stand a chance next week..." stuff. Reminds me a bit of week 17 and the days following, and we all see how that worked out for everyone. Being from the NW there is no better feeling then watching as Beast Mode and the Seahawks move on in the playoffs with the middle finger raised to the rest of the world saying "keep talking"

:]

They embarrassed the entire city of new orleans today. a gutless display!

Let's talk about yet another Manning choke. Just another reason why Tom Brady is superior to him.

How can anything that is said by either of you be taken seriously if you're going to exaggerate every loss?

New Orleans lost by 6-points in one of the loudest stadiums in the NFL. Hardly anything to be embarrased about.

Peyton Manning led the Colts to a lead with 55-seconds remaining in the game. He doesn't play defense or special teams.

I didn't care for the 2007 Patriots and I was thrilled by their defeat to the Giants in Super Bowl 42, but I recognize that they are one of the greatest teams ever to play, even with their SB loss.

Learn to give fair analyses and not let your prejudice dictate your words.

A middle finger that no one is taking notice of? How arrogant of the Seahawks and their fans to think that people actually care about them now. And what is the WORLD talk. Most people in the U.S. don't know of the Seahawks.

How ignorant of the world to expect a 7-9 team - who was beaten by at least 15-points in all of their losses - to be defeated at home by the defending Super Bowl champs, one of the better teams in the league.

The Seahawks will lose next week in Chicago or Atlanta. Their production during the season is all I need to make that statement. They won't have the 12th man behind them this time.

Well, wildcard weekend is over. the dead wood has been eliminated. looks like some great matches coming up next week. betting will be tough going. Pats opened up as 9 point favorites. even though they should beat up the jets, thats a bit too high of a spread for me. i like chicago over seattle. that might be my pick of the week depending on the spread.

The Seahawks are playing at Chicago next Sunday, this is the same place where they beat them before back in week 6 23-20. So whose to say the Seahawks couldn't shock the world again and beat Chicago? I feel like the Seattle D has really stepped up in recent weeks, and I still say Cutler is a severely over rated QB. It really could be anyone's game next Sunday.

Seattle is done. they gave everything they had against the saints. they will be flat. plus its outside in the cold. stick in a fork in them, its over!

I wouldn't say the Saints choked...to say that is giving Seattle NO credit for playing a well played game...

also, keep in mind the Saints were without their two best running backs, and I dont care who you are, one dimensional teams do NOT win in the playoffs

I do agree that Seattle's happy train is gonna be derailed next week in Chicago

Saints still had much more talent and should have won. they played with no heart. it looked like they didnt even want to win. but your right, seattle did play excellant.

If that is the case, then they would've quit during the game...they battled to the end... you gotta understand no team is gonna let you run over them just because you're the defending champs... the Seahawks played with a chip on their shoulders listening to everyone tell them they have no business playing in the playoffs...a team like that with nothing to lose, playing in a place that is hard to win in, and missing pieces on offense...they were primed to lose

Seahawks in the playoffs?

The seahawks ride ends next week no matter who they play.

I was suprised about their win over the Saints as well. That being said, nothing provides better motivation than everyone telling you you don't belong.

Do they deserve to be there with a losing record, probably not, however they did win their division. It's not their fault they play in that weak division. This is the same division that year in and year out has had the division winner as the only one above 0.500 and subsequently the only one to make the playoffs, remember the 49ers of the eighties and the Rams of the 90s.

They beat the Bears in week 6 in Chicago. Can lightning strike twice? If they win, they are in the Championship game one win away from the Superbowl.

If they make the championship game and/or the Superbowl, the NFL will have no one but themselves to blame for the way the playoffs are set up. If the league thinks that they don't belong in the playoffs with a losing record, then they need to change the way teams get into the playoffs. Do like the NBA and the NHL do, the top six or eight teams in each division get into the playoffs and are seeded by record, with the top seeded teams getting home field. Otherwise, leave things alone and let those teams that win their divisions enjoy the ride they have deserved.
