Say a prayer for Venray

I talked with Tracy this morning. Ray is sitting in a hospital bed awaiting surgery after a freak accident at work this morning. I'll let him fill in any details he wants to share. But, he broke both ankles and will be laid up for a while. So, please send your prayers and good thoughts his way.

It's probably not a good idea to try to contact him today. They have him pretty doped up to control the pain while they wait for a surgeon to come in this afternoon to repair the damage. If it's late afternoon, which it looks as though it will be, they'll likely keep him the night. I'm sure he'd enjoy a bunch of goofy stuff to laugh at once he's home. So, let's fill this thread with all sorts of silliness for him to enjoy.

I guess that he can at least count his lucky stars that it was his ankles and not his skull.

I am sending my best wishes out to you, Ray...Whenever you get out to see this thread.

Just got off the phone with Ray. He is still on pain medication but in good spirits because he offered to let me flirt with Raya on his phone which is proof he still has his sense of humor.

He says the nurses and staff there are taking good care of him. He says he misses all of us and can't wait to get home and back on line. They had just brought him in from a little fresh air outside so he is mobile with a little help.

That's all I got for now.

Let yourself heal, give yourself plenty of time so it's done right! I know from experience, like too many people, healing takes longer than doctors and insurance companies will tell you...

Drew & I stopped in on Ray yesterday afternoon. But, this is the first I've been online since then. He was MUCH more comfortable and in great spirits...joking around and telling us all about NHLee. RobAce opening a sliding door with his bare ass??? *shudder* Scary thought!

Amywhooooo! I took him my laptop and some movies to help fill up the down time. We should have him hooked up to get online this weekend at some point. So, he should be able to be back in touch soon even though he'll still be laid up for a few weeks.

What does that mean? It means that you guys have about a week to come up with all sorts of goofy new stuff to crack him up!
