I'm sure it's been discussed here. Probably covered in full when it came out in theaters, but perhaps I missed it.

I've just watched it tonight, and completley enjoyed it. Spader is sexy. Gyllenhaal is adorable. What a nice casting. My only problem was deciding which character i'd like to be more. Him or her. 😉

Couldn't help but imagine a little tickle or two to be sneaked in. *sigh* That would have been perfection, eh?

Anyone else like this flick?

It made me all...you know...warm and...warmer.

I liked the movie a great deal. However, I wish people who were into bdsm weren't portrayed as mentally unstable. I was a little annoyed at that, but otherwise enjoyed the movie.

I saw "The Secretary" and thought it was pretty good. It was actually better than expected. You can't read too much into a movie because it diminishes the entertainment value. But I couldn't help thinking "how in the world does this guy keep his business running when he never seems to do any work?"

I also thought the movie could've easily included some tickling. The movie would've been an absolute classic (for us anyway) if Spader would've tickled his secretary instead of spanking her butt. But it just goes to show you that tickling hasn't really become mainstream in any signicant way. Maybe some day. Secretary 2, perhaps?

I've seen it 4 times. The last time I saw it was with McGyver. He had me restrained throughout it.

As for the mentally unstable issue, one of the things I loved most about the movie was the change Lee went through. With Edward's guidance and love, she became a functioning person and gained self-esteem. I think it shows D/s in a very positive light.
