Sense of adventure?

There is no doubt that the americans have a much closer knit group of ticklephiles than us brits. I think it would be a wonderful thing if some of us could get together and enjoy a drink somewhere. We have a good common ground that most of us don't feel we can share with "normal" people. To that end I think it'd be a really great idea if 2 or more of us could meet in r/l just so that we could relax and be friendly. I think proposing a tickle fest/gathering is too scary for some people to contemplate, so just a friendly gathering in a pub or something similar would be a good first step.

Would anyone like that? Leave a thread and let us all know your thoughts. If one thing has been proved by the TMF, it's that we're the most friendly and non-judgemental group of people on the planet. We'd have a lot to gain by meeting each other.

Big Jim, i agree with what you say, it is about time us brits followed what the Americans do, and meet up one time. I however am a naturally shy guy with very little money so it may be difficult for me to come up, but i do wish you the very best in this and if it does happen one day then the next time i will have to come. Good luck with everything mate, only you from Britain is trying to make it acceptable over here, just like across the pond. You truly are the King of tickling over here 😀 I wanna do my bit aswell

When you say "come up" what exactly do you mean? I just ask because most ticklephiles inEngland seem to live in the north of the country, wheras I live in Hampshire down in the south.

London sounds fine to me.

I can really understand that TM. You can just imagine being the only gal and having all the male eyes in the room swivelling to look at you all the time. It would be quite uncomfortable.

Hello Rainbow. I see this is your first TMF post, so I'll jump in and say welcome to the forum! 😀 Let's hope you find it as rewarding an experience as most of us have.

Anyway.........

Being inexperienced would not be a bar from turning up at a "munch", as the yanks call them. It just involves an informal meeting of as many of us as possible, gathering for a drink and probably something to eat. It's just a way of finally seeing a few like minded faces, and having a good time. It doesn't automatically follow that there will be tickling actually happening; that sort of thing is very much up to individual people and how they feel on the day. It will almost certainly not develop into an American style "gathering" as us brits tend to be a bit more reserved and let's be honest; none of us have ever actually met before.

It also has to be said that females ticklees are very much in the minority and male ticklers are a huge majority. For the sake of the gals peace of mind, there should be at least a handful of them as they might be a bit uncomfortable otherwise.

But anyway Rainbow, welcome to the TMF. I hope you enjoy the place.🙂

Hi Rainbow - just an idea - but if there is a meet in London and you fancy going but are concerned about being the only girl or going alone. I'm also female as you'll have seen from my reply above. I'd be happy to meet pu with you somewhere first and we could go along together, if you'd feel safer or happier that way. It'd be my first time at a get together of this sort to, so maybe some morale support would go down well for both of us

As for Hulk Man - Mmmmm things could be done to remove that paint . you should be - lol Any objections to a 280lb gal making you scream?

Strictly speaking, I'm a ler. I'm 99.999999999% dom. You might remember me challenging the ladies of the TMF to try to break me at GLAT in September, but that was just me being a smart-arse. Sadly, the gathering got cancelled anyway. So I guess they won't be finding out just how unbreakable a British, stiff upper lip truly is!

By the way, you're not the first one to mention that erm....... "nipple anomaly" in my member pic. All I can say is, that is was a very cold day.😀 🙄 😉 😛

I don't really get a rise out of the thought of being tickled myself, but I'd be happy to meet and greet any UK members of the Forum. Let's face it; there's so few of us that we gotta look out for each other.😀

All I can say regarding my photo is, it's a great shame my pecs aren't as perky as my nips.

Glad you liked the Hulk pics. It took two and a half hours to put all that make-up on, and the contact lenses were absoloute agony, but it went down a blast at the party.

Let's hope us Brits can gather together for a good in the near future. Maybe then we can all do some ing.

Just as a side note for the ladies out there, DVNC's gathering in London consisted of a high male to female ratio. I think it was 6 guys and 2 gals. If respect is showed, then there is nothing to fear. The proportion of guys will always be higher than the gals.

You think this is far? LOL IN the US you get people travelling 2000 miles to a gathering, never mind 200. As for the age question, I'll kick off in answer to that. In May this year I had my 24th birthday.

Heck, the West Coast Gatherings have had three different visitors from the UK, and NEST saw two of them, too. That's a bit farther than 200 miles.

Mind ya, if you have it in London, visitors can go on holiday for the weekend, and stay and prowl London in spare time. It's a fun town to visit, IMHO.

p.s. ages vary between legal (18 in the US, youngest here was 20) and older than me. One gent was in his 50s. Oldest lady was 49.

Not a bad idea Raibow. How about a live real time chat between UK members in the chat room? That would probably be even better than e-mail as we can exchange thoughts and idea in real time as if we were actually talking. I'm rather strict about folks bein' legal age. Several times I've STILL had kids sign up, only to be told that it's full of old folks in their 20s and such, who'd get arrested for bein' in the same room in such an event.

It's based on age of consent, largely, though it went up when folks started whinin' about showin' videos at the event, to 21, 'cause under 21 in California can't watch "porn" and I don't play where it concerns gettin' a host's home taken. California is rather litigious, filing suit more than anyone could believe.

Thanks for that mate. Two ages of legal reference would be applicable in the UK. 16 is the age of sexual consent and indeed the age where girls can legally do glamour modelling.18 is the age of Majority when they can vote. In the UK you could probably get away with 16 legally, but I'd personally feel a bit strange about it. 18 seems to be better all round. (21 years old is of no relavence in this country at all.) On top of that, it's far less a litigacious society here, although lawsuits are on the uptake. I do know that there's no age limit for watching porn, so 18 would be no problem at all.
