Good point on the exhaustion. The article in the source that I have posted below has some good info on sleepiness that follows sex.

Endorphins are just part of the concoction that happens to males.

I would have to say sex is more tiring. After the grand finale (if done correctly) one is usually pretty spent. Tickling really doesn't have that emotional drain. A good tickle can go on and on. Unless, of course, your tickling kinda veers into that grand finale. Where after the tickling both are smoking either figuratively or literally.
