Shoes...lovely shoes should never be hampered with concerns of the feet. Get a pedicure and a shoe salesman, and life is sweet!

Even my fomridable 11/12's are happy shopping in a nice boutique with an attentive staff!

Shoes, gotta love 'em!

...ha, ha, Lime, I feel your pain, seriously I do. My sister, my dad and myself all have wide feet and have trouble finding shoes that fit right. I'm always buying shoes only to wear them and find out that they aren't wide enough. My sister has size 10 feet and has the same problem.


I really get sick of wasting money on shoes that don't fit right. Maybe we should all start a support group 😀

I went to a shoe store in the mall, and the sales clerk demanded I try on a 10, which I did and she seemed quite PO'ed that she was wrong (she tried to tell me that I needed a 10 and no higher), then she brings me a pair of all white sneakers and tells me that thats all she has in an 11, and walks awsy. I hate white shoes.

While you're at it, check out your local Birkenstock store. They have a ton of shoes to fit different size feet, and they are cute too! There's a whole variety of sandals that aren't "hippie shoes" for those who like more urban and modern styles.

Theyare great for feet that have spent years cooped up in shoes that don't really fit.

The same things happened when we all got issued desert boots. For some reason God only knows, the oh-so-wonderful supply system seemed to think nobody would need boots over size 10, and none were ordered (Even though they were given rosters with everyone's sizes ON them!). Due to this brilliant wisdom, many people had to wear the wrong size, pay out of pocket for desert boots that fit, or wound up wearing black boots in 120 degree weather. The foolishness of it all.
