I'm pretty sure it's scripted. The framing & lighting are perfect, and her feet keep nudging her friend. in terms of action, there was going to be some form of reaction.

They wouldn't line up that shot & then randomly roll the camera with no tag or button to end the shoot on.

These are ALWAYS scripted. That doesn't mean it's not cute. But these happen for a reason.
