Have any of you ever shown a vanilla or a significant other a tickle video? I showed an ex a video and it sort of made it easier to describe what I liked about tickling since it was being shown sort of as porn to her. Albeit, she was very open minded and wasn't necessarily a vanilla, but it was easier to show it to her and let her see what I enjoy.

It was sort of funny when she asked, "why are her toes tied back", and then her feet started getting tickled and she couldn't move them and she said, "oh god, that's awful." It was interesting to her what someone who had never seen a tickle video watch a tickle video from an outside perspective. Anybody else with similar experiences?
 
I've done this many times, but I'm careful to choose videos in which the participants are clothed, with no tits or dicks flopping about. I've found they are better received this way especially by women.
 
I've never thought about showing someone a video, might be a great idea next time I'm in a serious relationship.

Curious: exactly, which videos have you shown others? Mainstream stuff, youtube, or one from the producers here?
 
I have "turned" both my ex and my current gf into tickling fans(including bondage and everything), but I couldn't bring myself to show any tickling clip to neither of them nevertheless. I don't know why but I'd feel totally exposed and creepy..
 
I've showed some to my husband a few times. He saw the appeal but it's still not his cup of tea
 
If I may, our brand is the ideal choice for this scenario because we pride ourselves on keeping our videos classy. You won't see anything raunchy in our stuff unlike some other brands on here. Much better received and more tailored for vanilla people 🙂.

Agreed. I have done this in the past, as a visual explanation, and it went ok. Clips like Darth Sidious' work well for this.
 
I've shown them to friends before, they think they're hilarious and can't comprehend them being porn to some people.
 
I only did this once with a super Vanilla ex-girlfriend I had. The other exes knew I loved to tickle them but never asked why and were fine with
it (not being really ticklish helped them). I never got the nerve to show my super Vanilla ex my tickle vids/clips so I used the Aeon Fluxx
episode as she remembered Liquid TV back in the old MTV days. It was easier to use something mainstream with her. She just gave me a slow
nod and A-typical vanilla look as Aeon was shown on the front cover of the tickle magazine and on the chair at the end. No spark of interest or anything, of course she was so wrong for me. lol.

Next time though, think I will try a "classy" tickle clip to show. Gotta get to the point this time around!

I find it hard to talk about tickling even to my non-vanilla friends. My current partner is far from vanilla, but showing her a tickling video was still enough to make me blush into flames. Some tickling videos are a bit silly, like most adult videos... haha, so picking one in itself was a nightmare. Eventually I relaxed, and she sees a lot in what I see in it. It'll never be like, an equal interest, but it's not like, weird or anything anymore. :3 Which makes tickling her a lot of fun, since she knows what it does to me... (not like I can hide it. I break into giggle fits, even as a ler lol~)
 
So what production videos do you think would be the best to show a "vanilla?" -

They'd have to be casual, fun, simple... The original Magic Touch videos come to mind, as do the more recent LOL clips... where it seemed like just regular folk hanging out, having a good time, tickling the hell outta each other (cuz they often were).

As for nowadays... don't ya think the TickleMeRobyne vids would work great too?

Mostly stuff from here, plus some old F/M stuff by David Starr I got from Usenet. There are a few clips from Tickle Abuse that don't feature bondage. Tasha just takes the victim's feet in her lap and tickled them.

But you've definitely got the idea. Avoid the whole BDSM look with the dungeons, ballgags, chains, collars, excessive tattoos and/or facial hardware. This gives the impression of basically normal people having fun tickling.
 
I don't see why heavy bondage is necessarily a bad thing to show a vanilla. I mean, not super heavy; I think Tickle Abuse would suffice for the most part. I guess if you wanted the more having fun bits, but still, most of the things I can think of people are at least tied down. And I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing; it keeps people from getting hurt, really. Raises a few other questions but I think the positives out do the negatives; I mean, it makes it easier for everyone to enjoy themselves, in my opinion.

But anyway.

Some Tickle Abuse stuff, not a lot. Same with Czech. From the little bits I've seen Tickle Zen would be good, they're pretty light bondage and about fun. Old Amiranta stuff was pretty erotic if you wanted to show that side of it. French tickling is fun sometimes, but it helps to know a bit of french. Tickle Haven has some stuff, Laughter is Beautiful has some stuff, Tickle Chicks.. a few things. I think if I showed anything it would probably be (I think this is the name) Pochahantes Jones from Tickle Chicks. She's in a few different stores but she was having a great time in the clip I watched. Gemini/Lolo also always seemed pretty into it in their clips.

But I guess it depends on what you want them to see. I'd probably just show a Tickle Abuse clip, one where it's just fingers or something. And obviously no vibrator/nudity, but that's not Tickle Abuse specific.

Actually, the free clips Brandi puts up might be the best you'll get. They're more candid/personal since they're not trying to sell them and all parties are definitely into it.

I completely agree, I've found myself going you for most video choices as well
 
For the boyfriends I have had whom I have felt comfortable confessing my interests, I have offered to show them a sample of what I mean. Only one has taken me up on the offer, and while he didn't quite understand the appeal, he seemed to enjoy that I enjoyed it.

I can't see myself showing anyone else in my private life a vid like this, though.
 
One time I showed this Flash game to one of my male friends, just as a curiosity... not revealing to him how serious of a turn-on or obsession it was for me. (I just happened to be doing some work on my computer when he came over, so it came up naturally, just kinda like, "hey, check out this funny thing I found online.") He seemed to be pretty captivated by it, like he could definitely see how it could be a turn-on, or fun foreplay.
