Sibling ticklishness?

Hi all - does anyone have any experience with how ticklishness varies among siblings? For example, are all siblings about equally ticklish, or is the youngest child usually much more (or maybe even much less) ticklish because he/she is always getting tickled by the older siblings? I'm an only child myself, so I don't have any insight .

I don't think there is a correlation between how ticklish a sibling is verses when they were born. I'm pretty sure it's random. In my experience, it has been.

The only thing I have with this is based on what I heard, but I didnt see or experience their ticklishness.

My now former best friend was ticklish. I used to see his ex gf tickle him, so I know he was pretty ticklish, at least.

He told me, however, that his older sister was not ticklish. I recall seeing this a couple of times. However, I also recall seeing him tickle his sister's foot once when she was not looking, and the sister did move her foot as if the tickling felt ticklish to her.

While I think there can be a correlation between siblings, and ticklishness, such is also not necessarially true. As always, it depends on the people.

I have six female cousins by one aunt. Half of them, crazy ticklish. The other half, not at all. The three that are resemble my aunt. The three that are not resemble my uncle. I doubt age/sibling pecking order have anything to do with it. Pure genetics.

Not sure about everyone else in my fam but i know my cousin is super ticklish since my uncle and other cousins use to attack her all the time

Maybe the one who is not so ticklish walks around barefoot more. That would reduce sensitivity, so it's not crazy at all.

yup among my siblings, my brothers arent like they used to be..my sisters is still insanely ticklish, and my twin sister is off the charts
