Sidebar?

I kinda get self-conscious visiting this site sometimes, because the welcoming pictures in the sidebar are mostly nude. I think it makes this place look like we're into something like porn. Of course, that's the reason why it's an adult site, but does anybody else feel awkward about this?

I don't mean to be offensive to anyone, if I am, but I wouldn't want to tell somebody about this kind of secret and then it looks like we're doing something entirely different, according to the pictures online. With the links we can be free to do as we want, but do the opening photographs have to be that graphic?

I agree actually.. I brought this up in the chat once. I think video advertising is fine on the videos/images pages, but not on the discussion or general boards. I think it would reduce pervs treating women like pieces of ticklish meat on the discussion pages.

I am not into the nude aspect of tickling either and stay away from that version, but I know that a lot of people are in to it and they need that revenue to keep the site up so I just ignore it.

Also, it kinda irks me that the photographs around these areas consist only of women. If there were naked guys in that advertisement, too, they would feel uncomfortable. So, why not make it comfortable, or otherwise appealing, for everybody?

Because you can never please everybody and because naked women sell better than naked men. That's what this sidebar is all about - advertisement! Just ignore it if you don't like it.

That sidebar as well as the ads on top keep this forum free for everyone to use. The amount of bandwidth this forum uses is HUGE. Without the ads, there would most likely be a need to change this site to a "pay site". I shudder at that thought.

I'm straight, so I prefer men. Naked women looking better than naked men is objective. A bias. And I don't mind that they're advertisements. All I'm trying to say is that it'd be better if they at LEAST weren't naked photographs. It'd be more humble and welcoming to others.

This is a fetish forum. A lot of people come here to get jack-off material. So the sidebar is attractive and welcoming to them.

I TOTALLY AGREE!!! t would honestly be nice if that sidebar wasn't so obvious. This way it'd be easier to check this site while traveling or whatever, but most people can't becaouse of the ads the left. Be nice if the mods could move them to a less noticable location.

There are worse things to feel self conscious about. If you're uncomfortable surfing the site because of it, then do it alone. Like Rob said, those ads pay for everything here. This shit ain't free.

Besides, the people who pay the money to advertise on the sidebar are the one's who dictate what's going on there. And a majority of them involve naked women.
