So, How picky are you...

....as in when it comes to what type of clips you buy. Especially in the case of the models used. Do you look for a specific type (look) of model, or is it all about the tickling to you. We all like what we like, its not wrong or controllable, its just the way you are wired. I find myself to be VERY picky about the women that I find attractive. I mean in most cases there is something attractive bout the majority, but as far as what I really like as the ideal. I don't treat badly the women I don't find attractive, I just....dont find them attractive......

I am only slightly less picky when it comes to tickle models. If the tickling is good, i might stick around a bit, but generally if the model doesn't meet my mental template.... its on to the next. I'm not one of those dudes that have their pick of any woman in the world or anything, I just know what I like. It can get frustrating though when about 75% or more of women/models don't meet the criteria, and instead of watching a good tickling clip, I find myself on youtube again watching Slipknot videos again. Anyone else out there with a similar issue? Or want to chime in on my situation..... feel free to spit up on me

I've found the wide variety in tickling clips has something for just about any taste in the physical attributes of the models though there are fewer clips with model types that are not as much in demand by larger numbers of enthusiasts. I think the clips-for-sale is quite market driven and if those in the business see the dollars coming in for certain model types and tickling styles, we see more of those. The more particular someone's taste the less easy it may be to find vids with models of that particular type (e.g. someone really wants tickle models who are big buxom red heads between the ages of 30 and 40 who are being tickled wearing hose and a maid's outfit - that person may be disappointed in the selection). Everyone has his or her own preferences. We can each probably influence the selection out there by speaking with our dollars and buying the clips featuring models we each prefer. If 100 people buy clips of model A and 10 buy clips of model B, it ain't rocket science that we are likely to see more clips produced using Type A models.
My personal preference is less on the physical attributes of the models then on realistic tickling. My personal faves are the vids that are clearly amateur (or done so cleverly by the pros that they look all amateur) which usually has less than stellar lighting and sound, the ticklee is not some super sleek model but could be the housefrau from down the street, and the tickling is not one long stream of unbroken laughter but the laughter and other tickled responses come in spurts like my own real life tickling experiences have been. If it looks and sounds real, I much prefer that to something that has gorgeous models who you know are doing it for a buck and the action just doesn't feel authentic.
Producing commercial tickle videos is not an easy job and my hat is off to those who can do it with any degree of believability.

Well, I'm picky about the reactions, mostly. I get the feeling that most tickle fetishists are less picky about the reactions than I - most seem to mostly be looking for a hot model first, quality tickling second. For me it's the opposite. My list of negatories: hysterical thrashing, screaming, cursing, biting, forced/unnatural sounding laughter, and fakery. Put differently, I seem to prefer girls for whom tickling is mild torture to mildly enjoyable. Regarding the forced and the faked, there are some producers who have their models laugh unnaturally (a polite way of putting it). In particular, there is a producer whose models laugh at the same volume, pitch, and speed. I would rather see these models laugh normally, even if they aren't overly ticklish. Finally, some producers don't understand that for some of us, all the people in the video are looked at, not just the model being tickled. In some cases, ticklers who are wearing costumes or masks can be distracting because they look like monsters, ghouls, and thugs.

I understand completely. Quality is very important to me as well. The pickyness that plagues me as far as model looks goes is that I don't really go for the Hollywood Blond look, or the opposite or the spectrum, the bar~fly look either. My ideal girl has a pretty face, nice figure (no body builders but no bbw, sorry), pale skin, alt look but happier demeanor...... i could go on.... For example, I liked the reaction/look/etc of Dorothy from Parker's videos. She's one of my favorites. Some of my other favorites are Autumn Fantacy (Shy & Wild), Melody (Miss Tickling usa vid), Nae (Zen), etc. You can probably see the pattern... In other words, I would take Christina Ricci over Kardashian, Emma Stone over Jessica Alba or Amy Lee over Fergie ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.. As far as quality goes, I DEFINITELY have my favorite producers and DEFINITELY have some that will NEVER get a penny of my money. Opinionated?...... Yes, I am. Beautiful models with beautiful feet and a great laugh go a LONG way for me. But I also like something different. I used to LOVE tickling paradise because each clip was so different. I also felt as though I sort of "knew" each model which made the tickling more fun. Some producers do the same thing everytime and that gets lame quick. But it's been ten years since then (give or take), and I have found that the initial thrill of watching someone get tickled has waned a bit, and I have formed a veritable laundry list of preferences that I now look for in tickle clips. As both a 'lee and a woman, I think I approach tickle clips differently than most of the male 'lers on the TMF - I'm not looking for scantily clad, hot 'lees, who could just as easily grace the pages of playboy as be in a tickle video. In fact, the appearance of the 'lee is about as far down on my list as a preference can get. I don't care if she's thin, fat, white, black, asian, tall, short, etc. My only preference is that she be wearing at least enough to cover up her more private areas (actually, the more she wears, the better. I guess I find boobs distracting... and not in a good way 😉).

Where my preferences kick in is with the 'ler and with the interaction between the 'ler and 'lee. 99% of the tickle clips I enjoy are M/F (with the only exception being Bella's clips - I think she makes a fantastic 'ler!). Because tickling is tied into my sexuality (and I'm straight), I usually only like to be tickled by guys (especially guys that I find attractive) - so I look for 'lers (in the clips) that I would like to have tickle me. And realism is important because it makes it easier for me to picture myself in the place of the 'lee - and that is the ultimate goal for me. Which is why I run in the other direction when clips of role playing or overly-staged scenes come out because I know the only reaction those clips will get out of me will be either this 🙄 this or this

And while I have no physical preferences for the 'lee, I do enjoy a 'lee that doesn't mind dishing out some attitude or one who will make the 'ler work for any reactions he gets out of her. Because then when he finally finds that one ticklish spot that sends her over the edge and gets her to the breaking point, it makes her surrender that much sweeter. My preferences are about the same. I enjoy the interactions between the lee and ler, as well as something I can "put myself there" for. I enjoy living vicariously through the lee haha.

Hmmm. I'd have to say that my "pickiness" in general attraction to women is far different in my pickiness in tickling clips. I definitely have a very specific taste in the women I am attracted to; but, as far as tickling clips go, I'm less interested in her looks and more in her reaction. Sometimes, it's just the "authenticity" of a clip that will draw me in. Some of the best tickling clips feature ticklees who are only marginally attractive (in my opinion only, of course).

Overall,

It's not so much the looks; I'm not expecting a perfect 10 of a woman being tickled. I just want to see a genuine woman with a very genuine laugh being tickled (I'll get to what exactly that means in the next paragraph) I've been involved in the tickling community for at least 9+ years, I've seen clips, read stories, written stories.. Hell, I remember as early back when GreatFootFetish and SirBear videos & MagicTicklingProductions were the hottest sites out on the web. LittleRedHead was a legend of the industry for her genuine weakness to tickling and her feet were just absolutely perfect! I remember all of those things but in a few moments I will address what (in my view) separates a good tickling clip from a very bad one.

Without trashing the name of the studio(s) in particular that I think put out absolute garbage, any clip put on the market viewers shouldn't feel as if they're watching a lee and wondering if they should phone the police. There is one site in particular out there that I feel really walks on a thin line when it comes to what constitutes a sexy, exciting tickling clip and a woman looking like she's really being hurt or pushed too far. I don't enjoy that. Like one clip of a guy who's this big fat slob who looks like he's about 50 years old tickling 18 year old college girls. It's disgusting product in my opinion, I don't want to see any of that. I don't think that's exciting. The guy tickles these women in these poorly lit bedrooms and the way he just feels up on them, you don't get the feel that this a tickling clip or if it's something you should report to the authorities. Disgusting. I don't care a lot for the lers who dress in Batman or Venom masks when they tickle the lees. But I do understand that this has become the norm for most tickling clips these days so I may shell out the couple of bucks if I think it's a good video.

And just because a woman lee is very ticklish doesn't mean that I'll be interested in the clip, that's why the previews are so important. Sometimes just the way her laugh sounds is a turn-off. Or maybe her feet are fucked up. Or she looks like a woman from out of the alley somewhere. These kind of things can influence whether or not I purchase a video. What I like and appreciate, I like conversative style videos of women being tickled but also seemingly they're having a good time and enjoying their role as the lee . I don't want to see anyone looking like their being molested, assaulted, abused or anything like that. I don't like clips where the toes are tied separately to the stock bench, her legs are tied behind her head, her arms are tied to her ankles, a ball and gag is stuffed in her mouth. Who the hell can really be tickled tied up like that? So it's not very realistic and hard to get into.

There are some models who seriously force their laughter. As a video vet who has seen hundreds of clips over the years, I know a fake when I see one. If you're not ticklish, you're just not ticklish so don't try to force laughter because people who know what they're watching won't buy into it. One of my biggest complaints is of producers who try to pad their product. A 15 minute tickling clip should be a 15 minute tickling clip. Not 6 minutes of interviewing the woman before getting started. And then another 3 minute interview toward the end.

I'm a feet guy so that's generally the only clips I go after when it comes to tickling clips. I want to see beautifully pedicured or well kept, soft, cushiony, tender pink soles being tickled pleasurably by someone who isn't dressed like a nemesis of a Marvel comic superhero or a big fat slob. I don't care if the lee starts with socks on her feet, but I want them off! I don't like tickling through socks. I don't care much for underarms or stomach. The only other exceptions are perhaps the nipples and the lee's pretty pink flesh. If not, give me the feet videos.

Looking through my collection, I'd say I'm pretty picky. I don't buy all that many, so it's more about quality. I have to find the model attractive, but that is subjective and not based on a particular personality, body type, style, hair color, etc. It's just something that jumps out at me when I preview a video (or meet someone in real life, for that matter). I also prefer tight bondage, and will generally not purchase videos in which the model is flailing around and the tickler expends more effort holding her still than he/she does on the actual tickling. I much prefer scenarios in which the lee is laying flat on her back on some sort of bondage table/rack device (spread eagle on a bed works too), with wrists and ankles completely immobile. I don't know why other than I just love the vulnerability of this position. I do not require nudity (although I certainly don't mind it), but I do prefer that the tickling be performed on bare skin. It's more sensual, and it usually just tickles more! You won't find the "tickled in jeans" type videos in my collection. I will also generally not purchase videos that only contain foot tickling or upper body tickling, unless the foot or upper body tickling in a particular video really strikes me as exceptional. With few exceptions, the ones I buy contain a mix of both. So yeah, I guess I'm picky, but at the same time there are no hard rules. 🙂

Lots of great opinions and some seemingly picky people out there. I would like to point out that just because I like what i stated before doesnt mean i think thats all that should be produced. there have been alot of differing opinions stated on here, and none are right or wrong. Thats what contributes to the vast variety of producers, styles, lees and lers out there. Ive stated what i look for in a model.... usually, because there have been exceptions. I generally will give 50% of clips a chance, but there are alot of key words in titles that make me move on by without even looking. I won't say what those words are, remember the golden rule..... right. As far as the actual tickling goes. I dont like over reactors but i like when a truly unbearable spot is finally exposed. I can smell bullshit from a mile away. I don't prefer any particular area for tickling.. Generally a good mix of upper and lower body... with the addition of the often forgotten knees, thighs, etc. As far as level of aggression goes..... i enjoy both for differing reasons. Fun light hearted tickling is great for what it is. Fun, light hearted, interaction and excitement. I also enjoy from time to time the more S&M side as well as i feel it serves its purpose for those who find domination attractive. I don't care for sleazy vids that start as tickling and and as caressing and genital licking, touching. I feel the vids like that are using the tickling as a foreplay and not the main attraction. A vehicle, if you will, for a producer that has no chance in hell to sexually hook up with the model to take advantage of our fetish for their own 'vanilla' sexual pleasures. I like tickling videos that are about tickling, with no anterior motives. I generally don't care for story lines, but if the tickling is impressive i can get past it. When it comes to the tickling in general, i have a wider range of what i like than when it comes to models. I can be pretty narrow minded when it comes to lees looks but, hey, its my dime........ right....?

Here's a few of my pet peeves:

-As previously mentioned, masks. All I can think when I see this is, "Why is Batman/Rey Mysterio tickling that poor girl?" It's very distracting.
-"In-your-face" close-ups of feet. Yes, I have a foot fetish, but I don't want a microscopic view that enables me to see the lee's sweat glands. I like to observe the total package, thank you.
-Overuse of hair-brushes. I'm sure it is "devastating," but watching the activity merely looks like boot-polishing, and for me, borders on the realm of "cartoon-silliness."
-Screaming, obnoxious laughter. Going against the grain, I don't mind the calmer, "giggly" lees. Again, it makes the scene seem more erotic, and less cartoonish.
-Formulaic cinematography. Same equipment, same tickling, same positions, slightly different women.

Some positives:
-Playful banter that's legitimate, NOT staged, and not over the top for the situation. In particular, I think Brooke and Kelli Lynn Sage do well in this area.
-Also, CTG's girls intrigue me with their banter and pleading, because I have no idea what they're saying, and that's hot, for some reason. 😀
-Foot-tickling recorded at a distance that allows all parties to be seen, and at an angle that's not front-facing (That ties back to the whole "in-your-face" thing.).
-I prefer light clothing (shorts and under shirt, or a skirt.) over nudity.

To answer the post, I'm more picky now but for the sake of brevity, I'll just say that if I like what I see in the preview, I'm just about sold. Especially if the studio, tickler/ticklee is familiar and has a good track record in past videos. If the ticklee's ticklish and the tickling's good, I'm tempted, but in the end, I just get a feeling about a clip and put it on my shopping list...

A good laugh is about 90% of it for me. Sometimes I'll go to watch a clip and just close my eyes, and if the first ten seconds of laughter annoys me I'm done. If I'm watching between 5-30 minutes of laughter and shrieking, I better at least like her reactions. Also, variety; I'm not super into feet, so if that's the lee's worst spot fine, but don't focus on them the whole time if you have her screaming bloody murder by squeezing her thighs. Visual appeal isn't so important, if she's extremely ticklish and it makes my stomach somersault watching her suffer, she can be a plain-jane normal girl looking to make an extra buck. REAL girl with REAL body and REAL laughter is hotter than a fakey plastic-ed up model going "Hee hee hee, ohmaigawddd stawwwp that you meanie!" in a badly acted schoolgirl role play ANY day.
