So this week......

REALLY sucked ass for me. And, while I am NOT trying to garner sympathy from anyone, here's how my week went:
Sunday dad went into the hospital with chest pains that turned out to be a heart attack. He went back home yesterday and will be closely monitored. Long story....
Tuesday would have been my 14th wedding anniversary. Yeah....on the Solstice.
Wednesday was the 2 year anniversary of my mom's death.
And, I have to work all through the holidays.

In light of all this amazingly sucky stuff, I try to keep in mind that this is the time of year where things come to an end. On my path, we believe this to be the end of the harvest. Things die to make way for the new. It's evident all around in different ways. With that in mind, I try to keep positive that 2011 will be a much better year for me.

I am hoping that it is for you all as well. Happy holidays to everyone!! Please be safe!! DO NOT drink and drive and have a great New Year's Eve as well!!!

have a happy holiday falcon. lost my mom to cancer and my dad to drunk driving. It's a tough sword to swallow but it's possible to make it through the pain. just gotta think of the positive moments in life. and it is tough, lost my mom when i was 16 and my dad when i was 19. i'm 21 now so i'm still a youngin haha
